I've been a Sioux hockey fan (a hockey fan in general) for a long, long time, and perhaps because of my age I don't get too bent out of shape by these games.  But I had a short, strange dream that woke me up this morning.  It wasn't about hockey or UND or about anything, really--just a thing.   An eightball.  A black eightball.

    I had a dream I was rolling dice and rolled a 6 and a 2. 6+2=8 haha jk

I would love for someone to put together all the posts of the ledge standing fools  to show the "fans" or fake fans to ignore all season! Funny how some of them have less than 50 total post's. Only post this time of year to demand this team to win them a natty! Pathetic!

Because there is no such thing as a "real fan" that doesn't have 1k posts on siouxsports.com.

I wouldn't touch Connor. I he didn't fight for the puck when he was knocked off of it. He's just not a competitor like Compher was. All of our guys fight like mad for the puck. I'd rather have Simo than Connor. He's tough and sets a tone.

Simonson over Connor. Connor scored 35 goals as a freshman, simonson scored 3 as a sophomore. As far as a goal scorer simo is not. I like having his speed on the team but he is definitely not a tough tone setter imo. He's just not big enough and gets knocked down to easy. He does like to shove after the whistle though:)

I am thinking that Stecher stays for his senior season.  He's definitely talented enough to make the jump, and he's one of the best players and leaders that we have on our current team.  But he just strikes me as a guy that totally buys into the Sioux culture and wants to be playing a part of it for as long as he can.
We've seen it a few times...guys talented enough to leave early, but stay because "they'd stay at UND for longer if they could".

Stecher strikes me as a guy that absolutely loves playing for UND. He looks like he is having so much fun.

Yeah that 2011 team was as good of a team as you'll see in college hockey.  I don't know if I've ever been as disappointed in a loss as I was at the end of that year.  Was clearly the best team in college hockey that year and, in my opinion, by a wide margin.

That was a tough year. It honestly took a few weeks for me to stop thinking about that loss. That team was so special.

  6. That was the best performance of the year! Does anyone wonder why they play simonson so much? He has played a lot of games this year and really has done nothing impressive imo. I wouldn't mind seeing gornall in his spot but doubt that ever happening this late in the year. Feel like he's the next Mario
