Will UND be considered the "away" team for the Thursday night game? If so, will they wear the Green jerseys for St. Patrick's day, or will they wear the black jerseys to get some inspiration to go for Bucky's throat??

If I were to guess, he was probably in Los Angles for the big talk show host convention and awards thing.

The Wall Street Journal features a picture from Slapshot, with a story about the Albany River Rats. Acutally, the story about the fighting involved, but Zach Parise is mentioned in the article. Oh WSJ date February 23, 2005, Page D9.

Is the FSSN going to use the same feed as FSN? Am I going to be able to watch the game on 2 different channels on my MidContinent Cable? I listened the the Wisco announcers during their game with MN. I think i'll have the radio on...

Tiny, Maybe I can do you one better

That was hilarious! I can't wait to see it live! If he starts, I hope the camera catches it. Looks like they don't have any goal scorers in the top of the WCHA. Who do you suppose will be between the pipes this weekend? Lam tonight then JPar?? Both goalies make the top of the goalie statistics!

I'm surprised that the board hasn't discussed this weekend's series. I hate to overlook any WCHA team, even if their record isn't the best at this point. So, does anyone know anything about their star players, injuries, goalies? PS: Hoping the game shows up on the FSSN.

After missing last weekend because he was hit in the eye with a badminton shuttlecock, Nate Raduns is back on a line with Billy Hengen and Matt Hartman. According to Paul Raduns, Nate's father, Nate hadn't missed been injured in 188 straight games of hockey and 21 games of football, dating back to a concussion he suffered as a freshman for Sauk Rapids High School at the state hockey tournament. Cancel the shuttlecock signs

kr, Thanks for the additional info. We were planning to eat before the game - arrive in GF about 6PM, eat, then arrive the REA for the game. My wife eats kind of slow, so that needs to be taken into consideration. Plus, we'll both likely be wearing jeans, and I'm debating wearing my Sioux jersey to the restaurant or just putting it on when we got to the Ralph. The wife says anything but a burger or pizza. We aren't much into italian or chinese food. I'm looking for a nice salmon dish, or a good steak Anyway, fuel to help me cheer on the team!

Thanks for the info! I don't think we'll be heading towards Sanders. I couldn't find anything on the WEB for River Bend , but the Bronze Boot, Blue Moose and Whitey's all had fairly nice web pages . I think we'll head to Whitey's unless I'm convinced to try something else. We've been to Dimaggieos (sp) and we like that place but wanted to try something different. Also, We haven't been to the Ralph for a couple of years. Is there anything new that we should go check out?

I'm sorry that this is a little off the thread, but I have a question. My wife and I have tickets to Friday night's game. We haven't been to GF for 2 years to a game and I want to make the night special for the both of us. We used to eat at a place on 32nd Ave called Branigans, but I've heard that it is now closed . So I'm looking for other eating places that would be similar. My sources tell me that a place called Sanders is very nice, but also very expensive. Also a place called The River Bend was suggested. Also the Bronze Boot. Are there any other suggestions, recommendations, etc? Thanks for your help.

Signs: Beware the Birdie Benched by the Bird Keep your eye on the puck (crossed out) - Birdie Actually Marchia hit me in the eye

I agree. Let's get this young man a coat!

That penalty shot was huge for the Gophers. Even if Irman would have missed it, it would have evened up the powerplay, and the crowd was definately in it at that point. It's nice having Midcontinent cable that I could flip back and forth between the Fighting Sioux Network and Fox Sports Net North last weekend. Unfortunately, the gopher game was more exciting than the UND game on Friday night - at least until OT.

Looking at the roster, we have very few juniors. I suppose some of that class left early.

There is an interesting article on the front page of the Wall Street Journal about Hockey Bands and the content of some of their songs. It was interesting.
