If you let players put themselves above the program you have a problem on your hands. See the Mussman teams as example of what happens when a good portion of the roster thinks they’re above the program, that the program is lucky to have them. It should be the other way around. In other words, no.
I think one player was given two more chances after he left and that didn’t end well for anyone

I can't understand why they didn't stack the box against Nicholls. It was obvious early on what they wanted to do, and it was obvious we couldn't defend it with the original game plan. More of the same in the second half with no adjustments.
Nicholls was something like 14 of 16 in passing.

I thought it was clearly targeting, he led with the very crown of his helmet, a direct head shot our QB. I understand it is a very subjective call though, and our QB certainly wasn't a "defenseless" player in that case. It was definitely helmet to helmet contact though, and the defender led with his.
Yes it was helmet to helmet. Nate lowered his head for impact and the defender lowered his head for the tackle

Probably not, but I really think we got hosed on the "Non-Targeting" penalty. For as many times as they showed it on replay, I have a hard time understanding how it wasn't targeting. Sure, Kett lowered his head, but the defender popped square in the end with crown of his helmet. Hit him so hard that Kett's helmet went flying! I'm sure that pissed Kett off, (it would piss me off). He would never have gotten flagged if the ref wasn't two feet away to clearly hear whatever he said. I'm sure alot worse things are said on the field that go unheard and unflagged.
I wonder if the call on Kett was partially because the officials had had enough and Nate was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
to me I didn’t see it as targeting. How much lower could the defender get before he was eating shoe laces and turf?

I felt a lot worse after the Richmond loss. Is that a good thing??
At least with Richmond it felt like the team was a potential championship caliber team for a little over half the game.

I think if you take away the missed field goal, the fumble, the personal foul UND still didn’t do what it takes to win

Well, I’m going down stairs, drink some beer while I’m on the treadmill in my underwear, put on some Metallica, and dream about next year

Not impressed with either team in the first half.
What ever team moves on to next week better play a lot better or they will get fish eyed.

They might of thought he got out of bounds

Rooney has been a reliable OL. Played early and often.
Yes, very true

I think Nate has played some really good games but I do wish Andrew would of not gotten hurt. Would of liked to of seen a little more of him.
I think both great guys -
Lot of fun watching D backs trying to avoid JJ when he’s rolling down the field

I liked Austin Gordon’s tenacity.

They are a solid class. I will miss watching Wanzek and Toivenan on offense and Rodgers and Bennett on defense. Hopefully we get to watch Bennett at the next level!
These four are fun to watch. Sad Bennett got hurt, but hopefully next year.

How about we show the seniors a bit of love the day before the game

Im sure the last thing you guys want is an opposing team's fan here saying anything but that was a hell of a game. North Dakota had a game plan and they executed very well. A bad bounce is the difference in this one.
These games between our two schools have been battles, im gonna miss seeing these games on our schedules. Hopefully we can get a series scheduled in the near future.
Good luck, win out and lets do this again in the playoffs.
Kind of sad that the most positive thing said about this team all year is from a opposing teams fan.

Most frustrating was we had a chance to get up by double digits, if we do we win easily.
Very true

Number 23 takes on number 3 at number threes home field.
Number 23 spots number three 14 points.
Number 23 looses by three points.
I know and feel the heartache but the Sioux showed some stuff today
