No fucking way! What a moron. Straight up. That isn’t even a lateral move.
Anyone know what his thought process was on this? Was he unhappy over something or thought he could do better etc.?

Number one I think is athletic size on the defensive line.
they are athletic and May be fine in a year or two but you need size for consistency.
Defense starts at the line of scrimmage in my opinion- 2

A bit. But its not like they ran out of time...they got where they needed to be. Just didn't do what they needed to do.
I understand, but I would of still reved it up a bit to capitalized on the emotional component

What? What does that mean? Consider the fact I am a great fan of yours O wise one.

I thought NDSU was a bit lax on clock management at the end

Not trying to be controversial but there’s a big difference between a groin injury and a sack whack.
I always figured if I ever got into the game and took one to the rock salts I would grab my inner thigh and claim a pulled groin.
just a thought- 1

They need another Clive Georges type
Clive was stupendous. Haven’t seen any one close to that since he was done.
also need athletic beef upfront. The type that slow the play down a millisecond to let the speed guys do their thing -

At the beginning of year how many people would of thought that the last team eliminated from football playoffs in state would of been UND and not NDSU?? A great season to build on for next Fall. Need to get a little bigger to stop some of those big running backs.
Totally agree. This was a great year.

By a team that was ranked #1 all year? They were just better than us. Sure if we don’t go offsides on that punt we may have clawed our way back in but by no means did we get straight up smoked. Our team overachieved, won a conference title and the first playoff game in the d1 era. You’re right, heads should roll.
I think the team excelled this year. In my opinion the domination by NDSU was the only blip on this season.
I think that won’t happen again -
I say this was the year we have been waiting for. The team had the FBS win in 2015. Made the playoffs in 2016. Won a playoff game in 2021.
Next step is to put the hurt to the Bison.
it’s getting closer and closer.

NDSU down 14-0.
I would like to see SU win, UND can’t play them again this spring season if they loose

Obviously I’m biased, but I see it the opposite for NDSU, they finally woke up last week and I see them continuing that moving forward. They seemed to find a rhythm that wasn’t there previously and I think they are gonna be dangerous moving forward. I see them rattling off some wins 3-0 or 2-1 the next few weeks is what I expect.
I would not be surprised if you are correct. I am not sure I would buy into the argument of NDSU being one dimensional in regards to Lumpke (spelling?)
if it’s working why would you do something different?

True, everyone has them. We have a bunch of them too, especially in the hockey crowd. I've seen some of the college kids lay into a dad and daughter (probably 4 years old) when the Gophers came to town.
Also spoke with a very nice Bison fan, who is also a Packer fan, and went to a game at US Bank stadium. Vikings fans basically terrorized the guy for four quarter, who just wanted to see the stadium and watch the game. Some people really suck.
These people have nothing to do with college or team affiliation, they are just piece of s h i t human beings. There is no changing them. It is sad, but a big reminder about what is more important in life, and it is not football or sports.
In my travels, including to the NDSU tailgating extravaganza, over 99% of the opposing teams fans are fantastic. Oh sure there’s a bit of ribbing and trash talking but they all offer you a drink and something to eat and a “good luck today”. It doesn’t get much better than that

I agree, if NDSU’s offense can somehow get something going it should be a close matchup.
I’m hopeful that the NDSU pride will finally show up this week, but we’ll see. My heart tells me NDSU 24-17, but my head says different. We’ll see.
10%-NDSU wins big(14 or more)
30%-NDSU wins a close game
35%-UND wins a close game
25%-UND wins big(14 or more)
I haven’t watched the Bison yet so I can’t say. I’m just hoping for for a good old Bison/Sioux rivalry like the DII days. Man that was fun

BS aside, I am really looking forward to this game. I think it has the potential to be a good one, unlike the last two
