So now UND is a heavy team. Do they just go by what they remember from past years?
Yep. No idea what they’re talking about

This did not age well.
No it didn’t. I am beyond disappointed.

The "bumper" is the most overrated position in hockey. Pretty much useless. They just stand and watch the puck getting passed around.
TJ Oshie is the only guy I’ve seen be effective at that position and I’m not sure he wouldn’t be better elsewhere on the PP either.

Gaber is so incredibly one dimensional. He’s a good player, but you can’t ask him to win you games. He needs a lot of help. A poor man’s Ryan Duncan.
Why take his one dimension away from him on the power play.

Did Gaber play today ?
He was the “bumper” on the PP! Smart move taking him off the wing where he snipes like our last Hobey winner for the last several years. Inexplicable coaching move. He was a non factor in the bumper spot.

The amount of clean looks that Omaha has been getting on Hedquist is crazy.
Timely observation

Looks like Omaha is on the power play. Why aren’t we pressuring these guys.

Turnover again caused that.

Stop the damn turnovers in our own zone!

Albrecht back and Ness extra skater and available. Very good thing.

Like that plan.
I’m already sick of Omaha and now we have to play them 1-2 more times this season with a lot more on the line. Let’s hope the boys come out with more fire than their last UNO series.I think we will be ready and play well.

I think Blake should definitely get in the hat trick. Could even win if the vote split happens.
Blake made the final 3

Based on the Miami team I saw the last time we played them in their barn, a three game series against them will not do much more to prepare this team for St Paul in March or April than a Saturday morning public skate.

Isn’t Sandelin the same age or slightly older than Berry? I don’t see that happening.
Exactly.

Omaha coach another guy that Chaves could consider when the Bubba gig is finally up.

Not hard to do when the puck hits you in the gut every time.
Yea he’s good but was totally untested. His D protects him too. Would have liked to see Blake and others keep shots lower and maybe there woulda been more rebounds.
Ludvig is a rebound machine.

They are in the arena.
They talked the entire intermission to Schlosmann about why the regionals should be switched back to campus. Hasn’t the NCAA announce they will be chang d starting in 2026?

Maybe that’s what our regular PK looks like against a bad team.

That was the most physical game I have seen out of the team that I have seen for some time. Maybe DU brings it out in is, but it made our defense up and down the ice so much more effective. Both our forwards ad D men were taking the body very effectively. No big hits drawing penalties-just good solid hockey. And DU don’t like it.
