JESUS,family, rutgers
I received a message earlier today from a big Fighting Sioux fan just back from the Final Five mentioning how it has already been 7 years since the last National Championship. At Rutgers, we are on year 137 and counting since our last National Football Championship (1869). And no, I wasn't at the game GO FIGHTING SIOUX! GO RUTGERS! AZSIOUX
just expect greatness all the time along with a few other hockey schools out there, so yes, we are spoiled with tradition, winning and national titles. rather be like that rather than, thats ok we will get em next year

siouxnami
PCM might have been. And yes, 4 out of 5 Gopher fans agree, we are spoiled...
Sioux Hockey Fanatic
We are spoiled. When I have to run to the bathroom at the Ralph I can watch whatever I'm missing on TV, they don't have luxury like that in MN!
FightingSue
I would say yes. Its been proven in the first half of the last two seasons. The team has started off slow and a lot of the fans think it's all over. You can hear the whining at the Ralph and even read it from some of the posters on this site. It's not all bad I'd rather cheer for a team where the fans expect to win then a team that they expect to lose, or worse not even care. AZSIOUX
So...you mean like the Packers and their fans? Go Pack Go! PACKER FANS = GOPHER FANS
Big A HG
PACKER FANS = GOPHER FANS Hardly.... Packer fans = Badgers (all sports, not just hockey) fans = teams that actually can win something Gopher fans (all sports, not just hockey) = Vikings fans = teams that generally fail miserably more often than not
