I ran Derrick LaPoint and Mike Forney's name's and found these video's. So those of you out there who have never seen them play, here is a very brief clip of the two recruits. sprig Posted July 25, 2006 Posted July 25, 2006 Nice find, thanks. Really like LaPoint's lateral movement and puck handling ability. Hope the Sioux keep him around the point for four years (or three anyway).
tnt Posted July 25, 2006 Posted July 25, 2006 Lapoint reminds me of Marto, not only because of their high school number, but they both skate very well and have good lateral movement. Will be nice to have both of them to fill in for the losses the Sioux are sure to take on the blue line the next few years with the possibility/probability of Lee, Chorney, and Finley moving on early.
