nodakvindy Posted June 21, 2006 Posted June 21, 2006 Just saw this story. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncaa/news/story?id=2494149 While it's a long-running joke on USCHO, these network could be viewed as an outlet for games for a Big 10 hockey conference. The Big 10 should pocket a fair amount of money on this venture. This could be a catalyst for Penn State to move up. It will be interesting to see if anything comes of this. Quote
Diggler Posted June 21, 2006 Posted June 21, 2006 Minnesota and Wisconsin already have nearly all their games televised, so I'm not sure they really care about this. Michigan and Michigan State have a good number of their games televised. Why would any of them want to enter into a contract where they have to share the money with other schools, when they already have their own contracts where they get all the money? Quote
