PCM Posted December 5, 2002 Posted December 5, 2002 EDIT: DOH! And in my rush to beat forecheck, I even got the date wrong! It's time to admit defeat and let her take over the note-taking duties. Tim Hennessy (TH) interviewed Dean Blais. About being rated number one in the nation, you hope it Quote
soSIOUXme Posted December 5, 2002 Posted December 5, 2002 Thanks for the recap. Did he mention anything about the Northern Lights Classic next year? Member of REA management announced to employees that BC would be playing in it next year. Hadn't heard that anywhere else yet. Quote
forecheck Posted December 5, 2002 Posted December 5, 2002 I didn't realize this was a race. Huh. Guess I go more for quality. Quote
PCM Posted December 5, 2002 Author Posted December 5, 2002 Guess I go more for quality. Obviously! Quote
dagies Posted December 5, 2002 Posted December 5, 2002 Great stuff, thanks again for the time and effort. It's great to see the confidence Blais has in Hale, McMahon and Prpich. I think with Prpich playing more confidently and aggressively, that gives him this option. Then Notermann, Spiewak et al can be turned loose to concentrate on offense. Hope they can do the job! That certainly is a physical line that will match up against Malone and company and they will have to be with Malone's size. If Hale can keep up he will negate that size advantage. This should be a great weekend of hockey, a couple hard fought games. I wonder if a goalie coach would be a good buffer considering Blais' admission... Quote
Taz Boy Posted December 5, 2002 Posted December 5, 2002 Thanks, PCM, for taking the time to put the show in writing. It is a pleasure to read this for those of us who are stuck in Gooferville! taz Quote
