From what I've heard he went in and they had a hierarchy made out of who was under whom. Turns out ol' Bruggy wasn't on the list. In the words of the Trumpster...YOU'RE FIRED!

Speaking of ego, maybe Bruggeman's was part of the problem. When RT was in charge Bruggeman could be seen wearing his suit and palm pressing the big timers, now he's between a rock and a hard place.

I noticed in the UND press release that the duties currently handled by Bruggeman will be assumed by the new senior women's administrator, to be hired in September. By combining those two positions, it will presumably save a decent amount of money. Getting the budget balanced is obviously one of the most important tasks Buning faces, and this would seem to be one step in that direction.
