Of course that would be nice to see, but I won't get my hopes up, lots of places were picking the Cubbies (beloved) over the Red Sox last year. The 42,000-seat stadium, to which the Twins would contribute $125 million, would be completed by 2009 in the downtown Warehouse District. I'm not much of a baseball fan, but the loss of one of its two major tenants could accelerate the fiscal doom of the Metrodome.
