dagies
Over on USCHO someone asked about how one evaluates the talent of a hockey player. Having never played the game one of the best things about these boards is the occasion when experienced players have a discussion where fans like me actually learn something about playing the game. Eventually that knowledge helps me enjoy watching the game that much more. In answer to that question, I dug up copies of some articles I found on Hockey's Future a few years back and tucked away for reference from time to time. While I am a poor student, they are informative. While looking up the links to these articles today I found another link to scouting tips that could be interesting. In addition to that, there was recently a thread on USCHO where there was quite a bit of very good information about watching a goaltender. So, I thought some people, like me, might like to see this stuff if they haven't already. So here are the links, for what they are worth: Goaltending (It's a bit long but well worth the read): USCHO Goaltending Thread Scouting hockey talent: Hockey's Future Scout's Eyes Scouting Tips Hockey's Future Scouting Tips
