A neat Ralph Englestad and a 2004-2005 puck. I have a puck that is white and says 2002-2003, did they have one for '03-'04? Just curious because I didn't visit the arena last year and enjoy collecting different Sioux pucks. Perhaps they will be doing one for each season now. Anybody have one with the blackhawk logo they would be willing to sell? If so, send me message through this site. Just wanted to let collectors know! MafiaMan Posted November 30, 2004 Share Posted November 30, 2004 The game-authentic pucks from the past few years that I have have the new Sioux head logo with six stars underneath and the interlocked ND logo with seven stars underneath. Not sure about the ones marked with the years... Did catch an authentic game puck from Houghton this past weekend. Curiously enough, Michigan Tech's pucks do indicate the 2004-2005 season. The pro shop also has pucks with an orange face and the new logo. Barnes and Noble has pucks with a white face and the new logo that are good for autographs if you like that sort of thing. Gerrells/Hockey World and Play it Again typically have Sioux pucks also. I caught a game puck during the Friday Gopher game (sitting in the front row behind the net - it fell through the protective netting during the first period) that is as MafiaMan described. It is the Sioux logo with seven green stars beneath it and the WCHA logo on the back. I think the six title puck was the one with the interlocking ND logo and six stars. 01grad Posted November 30, 2004 Author Share Posted November 30, 2004 The past five years I tried to collect an official game puck from each WCHA team. I knew 3 players in the league that picked them up for me and I was hoping that each would have the WCHA logo on the back but Mankato and Alaska didn't. The only one with advertising on it was North Dakota otherwise the others had WCHA in white lettering or bronze on the back. The other thing that I thought made it a game puck was that it had a white ring around the logo on the front saying the name of the team, but Mankato, Alaska and Duluth didn't.
