UMDDogz
Dogs tie Notre Dame 2-2 in a pentaly filled nightmare Thursday night. So much for speeding up the tempo of the games. Reichmuth looked fairly solid with 25 saves, a few of outstanding quality. PK did well for the Dogs, but only 1 of 12 on the PP. A bit of a power shortage compared tolast season. Hopefully they can turn the lights out on Notre Dame tonight!! BTW: Football being what it is in South Bend, the hockey games were scheduled thursday and friday nights. The football game is at 2:30, and the hockey game would have been at 7:30. Guess they figure the fans would be too drunk by the time the puck dropped. DMT
I think the first month or so of the season will be slow and penalty filled. I think once the players/coaches adapt to the "new" rules, the game will open up.
Blackheart
Saw the highlights for this game on CSTV; a lot of Irish fans were dressed up as empty seats....
