GFSIOUXFAN Posted March 30, 2004 Share Posted March 30, 2004 It blows watching the Sioux get shut out, especially when they average around 5 goals a game. I think the article is a compliment to UND. It took a perfect game by DU to win. The difference in playoff hockey is almost always the goaltending. Berkhoel and Parise both elevated their play that game, unfortunately when a guy like Berkhoel plays at the top, it's almost impossible to beat, even for the Sioux. 33 shots and a shutout is almost unheard of, 17 shots and one goal is still very good, but somewhat more common.
