Midcontinent to carry all of the Reginal games?

MINNEAPOLIS, March 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Victory Sports One, the exclusive provider of the NCAA Division I Regional Hockey Tournament games, is pleased to announce that it has secured arrangements with cable and satellite providers to bring the upcoming tournament to households throughout the upper Midwest region of the United States.

The 30 affiliates who currently offer Victory Sports in 200 communities will air these games. In addition, Victory Sports offered free coverage of the tournament to all cable and satellite providers with whom it has not reached long term contractual agreements. To date, those providers who have accepted this offer include:

Cable: Time Warner, Charter Communications, Midcontinent Communications

Satellite: Echostar (Dish Network)

"It is our top priority to find a way to bring such important programming to hockey fans throughout the region," said Victory Sports' general manager Mark Sharockman. "We are thrilled that with cable and satellite participation we will be able to bring the hockey games to those fans."

The NCAA Division I Regional Hockey Tournament games will be carried on participating cable and satellite stations on the following dates and approximate times:

Friday March 26th:

4 pm: East Regional: Maine---Harvard

6:30 pm: West Regional: North Dakota---Holy Cross

Saturday March 27th:

11 am: Midwest Regional: Minnesota---Notre Dame

2:30 pm: Midwest Regional: UMD---Michigan State

5:00 pm: Eastern Regional Final

8:00 pm: Western Regional Final

Sunday March 28th:

Noon: Midwest Regional Final

3:00 pm: Northeast Regional Final

Fans throughout the region are encouraged to check with their own cable or satellite provider to confirm coverage.

The NCAA site says 7:30 central is game time

NESN is picking up the feed JIP at 9 (or after the Sioux game)

For the people who have Victory (not the preview), UW will be shown tape delay at 9 (or after the Sioux game)
