Tailgating

Tailgating crowds are consistent but I wouldn't say they grew much this year. I hate seeing large gaps of space open week after week. UND needs to take a stand and not just let people buy spots and never use them. There are four spots next to us that have been used twice in the last three years. UND has staff walking around all the time all they need to do is make notes at every home game of which spots are paid for and not used, then the next year those people get moved and the spots filled in so the gaps go away. Reward those who are loyal tailgaters and show up.

Some kind of encouragement on campus is needed. Something needs to be done about free student tailgate passes, they are basically used as parking, which kills everything.
