Bisonfan1234 Posted February 8, 2004 Posted February 8, 2004 Just curious during the game tonight is said the hyslop 19whatever it is -2004, thanks for the memories. Is the hyslop being bulldozed or what? Why not just keep it around? Unless you're going to use the space for an indoor practice facility for football or something to that effect. Quote
Cratter Posted February 8, 2004 Posted February 8, 2004 Haven't we already explained this to you. The Sioux will now play in the Betty. A new facility attached to the Ralph. No it will not be Bulldozed. Quote
Cratter Posted February 8, 2004 Posted February 8, 2004 And another thing. I'm sure you wouldn't know the difference, but Basketball plays in the Hyslop not the football team. Quote
Bisonfan1234 Posted February 8, 2004 Author Posted February 8, 2004 I knew all of that. Was just curious if the hyslop was going to be torn down.. you say no? Ok, just asking. Quote
SiouxMeNow Posted February 8, 2004 Posted February 8, 2004 hey Bison, TOO much asbestos in the Hyslop for it to be useable for anything in the immediate future. They found that out when they were planning the refit for a student wellness center. Now they're planning a brand new student facility near the REA complex. No doubt UND will just let the hyslop sit around and rot like the old Ralph. UND is still considering putting an inflatable dome over Memorial for an indoor football practice facility. No new word on the Old Ralph either...SO MANY FACILITIES...SO LITTLE ECONOMICAL USES... Quote
bigmrg74 Posted February 8, 2004 Posted February 8, 2004 eh, if all else fails, you could always turn it into it into an indoor golf driving range. It would be a good place to pump your alumni for more donation money, not to mention improving the quality of your golf team. that is if you have a golf team. Do you know why they call it golf?? Because of all the other Four Letter Words where already taken!! Grudge-Match Golf Game! Quote
