dagies Posted March 19, 2002 Share Posted March 19, 2002 Two things my buddies and I were talking about the Final Five. Things we'd like to see: 1. Call holding the stick. A lot. 2. Call guys for holding on the boards. A lot. I can understand finishing a check, and I know that when 2 guys go into the boards you often have your stick in front of the guy and you have your arm around his other side as you fight for position, etc. However, I don't like seeing guys go into the corner, and then just hold the guy there for 15 seconds while the puck is nowhere near. The other thing I don't like is seeing a guy go into the corner and immediately put the guy in a headlock and hang on. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The "face wash" and shove (or head grab, of hold down, or hand on the back of the guy on the ice's helmet) after the whistle are all penalties.
