CMSioux Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 Okay as the cliche goes, This isn't the end it is the beginning. Many of us will go through a greiving process which includes denial, resentment, anger and eventually acceptance. We need to keep our integrity and stay proud. It won't help UND's image if there is negativity towards native americans. The Fighting Sioux legacy is a big part of North Dakota history so perhaps there needs to be Fighting Sioux Historical Preservation Society started. Perhaps The Ralph could set aside some space where alumni could donate memorabilia. It could become a state historical site. The Fighting Sioux Historical Preservation Society could also hold events on campus in conjunction with sporting events and homecoming. What are your thoughts? Quote
NorthDakotaHockey Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 I think that it is a great idea. Hopefully, the SBoHE didn't give that opportunity away in their settlement agreement well. Quote
