klomp44
GO MUSTANGS!!!!! Seriously, I think this should be a very good game. I have really been impressed with our guys (Mustangs). I was surprised by the UMKC game. Maybe you guys are better than I give you credit for.
The Walrus
SWS's HC Greg Stemen was a volunteer asst for Rich Glas back when his wife was the HC for UND Womens Volleyball. Greg has done a great job at SWS, his teams are well disciplined and always work hard. I would expect this to be a hard fought game, but with UND's hard fought win at UMKC I have to give them the edge. The momentum that Coach Jones and his staff seemed to get from the boys late last season has seemingly carried over. Hopefully we can get some fans and students in the Betty to cheer to boys to victory.... Go Sioux!

star2city
Post Game Comments: Sioux did not shoot well Need to shoot FT better DeRock had 24 points SMSU 10-23 on 3 pt FG Harkins had 23 points From the stats, looks like both teams had nearly the same shooting %. Derock: 7-9 from 3 pt land seems like the key stat. Of the six remaining non-transitional DI games, the only non-miraculous potential win would seem to be Northern Colorado. The Walrus
UND looked tired tonite when SWS made their run, and UND could not get back into it. Lots of athletism but that need to translate to points and we missed alot in side and out. Also dissapointed in the crowd, really hoped we could start getting the student section (some were there) to get involved stand and cheer....? SWS won tonite but not with a better team, just a Team that played better together.....
