MinnesotaNorthStar Posted June 10, 2003 Share Posted June 10, 2003 MAAC Teams May Form Independent League With Iona and Fairfield getting rid of their hockey programs, Canisius is the only member school left, prompting the remaining teams to question the new governance structure of the league. One option is to form a new conference with the nine remaining teams run by Hockey East as the CHA was run by the WCHA in thier infant days. Overall the article is pretty interesting.
