  1. I think trying to make things better is good. I think helping out the programs we love is good. I think enhancing player safety as a program priority will only help us. But the program needs more to be elite. Walk around memorial stadium and especially in the corners where they hope fans and recruits don't notice, look at the shape of the infrastructure. The shape of the track, the equipment. I still don't know if the HPC is done yet. If it's not, that needs to be funded as well. Keep on this topic. It needs to remain relevant.

  2. Everyone is so quick to elevate Zimmerman. We don't know what we have in the other 2 yet. Heidlebaugh is an athletic beast that may just need some real live fire time to get the confidence he needs. He could play in a lot of different positions but they are keeping him at QB. Staff must see something. Will be an interesting Spring game. I hope any of those 3 young guys seizes the #2 spot and is ready to roll.

  3. Agree with the optimism. This was the 1st FCS playoff game for Bubba as a head coach. Just like the team, he also is still learning and getting better each year as is the staff and the team. Football is getting relevant for the 1st time in a very long time. I was at the hockey game last night at MSG and in our section  between plays and periods, everyone was on their phones following football. Was pretty cool! Everyone is disappointed and no more than the the team. We keep taking steps. I for one am excited for what is coming next year!

That's great. I did the same last week in Beijing.  Made it to gf for this one. What a win

Was worried of getting complaints from the hotel from all the yelling I did during the pick six at 6am!!

I know I've said it before but if he didn't get that Achilles injury he would be our starter right now and would have been last year. It was a horrible break for him and the program because it pushed Studs out there before he was ready. He should be a RS soph backup being groomed to start for next year right now. Too bad. As a result we're still scrambling for qb depth.

I don't know that Rudolph's offense fit his style of play...

I did like Joe in the pocket.

  6. Got to go with Brad H. Everyone has to temper their expectations though for either guy. Brad H needs the time. But you don't have to change the offense much with him. Scale it back some perhaps. Brad is more like Keaton. He's a big strong kid who can make a difference with his legs. Ryan B just, well, isn't that kind of QB.

Remember when Keaton first started he averaged like 70 yds passing per game. And let's be realistic, Keaton hasn't exactly been lighting it up the past few weeks himself.

Would be nice to see what we have. With Brad under center perhaps it causes everyone else to raise their respective games to another level to support the young guy....

Studsrud has no backup pushing him this season. That wasn't the case last year because he had to beat out Bartels and Mollberg in fall camp. Just a theory of mine. Now, being its game 5, hopefully Studsrud and his young receivers will start making some plays.

Perhaps they read the chat cause they were awesome today!

People absolutly were calling for Wentz. Bisonville was set ablaze with Wentz mania from the time he was a rs fr. He was better than Brock but Brock was winning.

Depth, depth. That is what depth looks like. It didn't hurt that the QB's your talking about were both All Americans and one now the early leader for NFL rookie of the year. I was really hoping we'd see Studs development continue, especially after how hot he ended the year last year. But he is really tight throughout the first half of the game. His growth seems to have tailed off. I think it hurts that Clive is out, that the line hasn't come together. I am hoping that he can get hot earlier in the game because we really need him to take the team on his back. Our defense is most effective when we can pin our ears back and have opposing offenses in predictable situations and playing from behind all the time is going to wear them out.
