    I love this statement. Way too many people on here make it sound like Hak's system was hit the redline and dump it even if you have an odd-man rush. Would we prefer to have our players try and stick handle through everyone and have a million turnovers each game leading to odd-man's the other way to get away from ever dumping the puck?

     

    I can see playing the dump and chase on occasion, but fighting for the puck than hitting the redline and giving it up, Not the best play. At least if your going to dump it in ring it around the board so the opponent isn't given the time to set up and run the flying V on us.

    I agree that Tomek will be fine to great, especially with this defense.  I know we have had coaching changes where an assistant gets the job and says "You won't notice much of a difference" - I wonder what different we will see on offense - maybe a more wide open attack?  Anyone have ideas?

    I think they need to get away from always using the dump and chase play. Maybe Berry will do this and bring home the "Banner."

    I floated this a while back and I don't think there's much of a stomach for that around here. To your question, I haven't heard anything to suggest that a color change is even remotely under official consideration.* Dem colors run deep.

    * - Besides, the semester is over and it would be nearly impossible to convene the requisite three committees.
