Obviously this team can't turn it on and off like a switch... yeah DU was hot, but they also got beat soundly at home by their biggest rival in the playoffs, not exactly a confidence booster heading into the tourney, and they rode a hot goalie to the title... it is possible to get hot and roll of 5-6 straight

Wow... that may be a bit pre-mature... Let's remember DU was the 5 seed in the WCHA playoffs last year, failed to qualify for the Final 5 (losing to CC in first round) and got hot and won a National title... yeah, they aren't playing well right now, but get hot in a couple weeks and who knows...

I absolutely agree, this was a big game coming off basically a bye week, and Brandt comes out sluggish? Sounded like Parise played pretty well in relief, I think you reward the youngster with the start tomorrow night.
