  1. I reached out to a player parent, they think there is nothing to this, and when countless players including Kaylee Kebba who saw her playing time go down under this coach and would have reason to complain stand up for Logan, and Ty Shannon defends him, there is not any there there. Looking forward to writing about spring soccer soon!

  2. Gonna re up my own site here because why not! Check out Seamoresports.com for recaps and more, and subscribe to Seamore Sports on Youtube for video interviews with the opposing team/UND players to get different perspectives. All free! (we are taking donations and if you are a business owner and want to sponsor a growing platform that for students turned working parents both trying to get grad degrees has had over 10000 views per year since inception on an irregular schedule, let me know). https://seamoresports.com/

  3. Check out a recap of Friday with a look ahead to saturday. For me this game was a bit of a flashback Friday. In basketball terms as the game went on, especially in the second period, UND had to put up more 3's but could not rebound enough to get easy put backs. That was the biggest concern. Omaha cleared the net front routinely as well. Read and let me know your thoughts. https://seamoresports.com/2020/01/11/6-3-how-nebraska-omaha-upset-und-and-what-to-watch-for-saturday-night/

Well written as always, and I completely appreciate the sentiment of throwing a hard working program into consideration. I'm just not sure who would show up to Target Field to watch Bemidji and Huntsville.

Those who organize the Winter Classic will be wanting their stadium full, so I would be very surprised to see anyone take this approach, though like you said, it is somewhat of a story made for Netflix.

UND would without a doubt draw the biggest crowd in the region, followed probably by UMD. I'm not sure if teams have the ability to buy out their non conference games like in football, but buying out a game would be something to consider, if it meant setting up a game like this against Michigan or Wisconsin (Both would be fantastic), or even an East coast team. There would be no issue in setting something like this up if not for the Nashville game already being on the schedule.

Personally, I think UND and Bemidji would be the most likely; but who would give up the home game? Regardless, this gives you a Minnesota team, it gives you a large fan base, and it give both teams additional exposure.

I said it before, defending national champs at the Winter Classic ... would be cool

UMD Huntsville maybe? If you think UMD can sell the place out and if Huntsville and UMD have room on the schedule maybe a two game series at Amsoil and the Winter Classic? 1/1 is on a Friday and I think UMD could sell the place out alone. go 1-1 and then 1-2 or 1-3 in Amsoil depending on schedule. Also thanks for the compliment!

  5. Writing an article on this, but I honestly think after seeing Huntsville and Talking to Coach Corbett, that this platform would be better for the Chargers to play a WCHA game against an MN school. If we want to grow college hockey and I think we do, let's promote the school who has a coach that fundraises and has built a community of fans in college hockey's southeastern most d1 school.

What's the story with the Senden Hain Smith line? I know Bubs puts them out in a shut down role against top lines when we've got last line change.

Hoping to see Hain and Senden get on the board more consistently.

Love Smith's game. He's making his shots and staying out of the box.

In terms of possession, they are always really good at holding the puck and playing with strength. Since they were together, I have called them on twitter and in articles, the GMC line because they are so darned dependable (gavin hain, mark senden, cole smith).

How about cutting it down to 16. There are at least 8 teams that have ZERO chance of winning a title. Give everybody a bye week before the playoffs and get rid of regionalization, seed everyone 1-16. Tell the SWAC and MEAC if they want to play in the Celebration bowl they lose their AQ. If they want somebody in the playoffs their second place teams better have a great resume. I think that would be 8 AQ’s and 8 at large bids.

Fair points, but how many mens and womens basketball teams have a "chance" to win the title. I would prefer expansion as FCS ball is growing, the tourney should grow with it.
