  1. Why isn't this story plastered across the top of the herald's page and posted three different times on their Facebook page like all the other women's hockey dying stories? It's just a tiny little story at the bottom.... Ridiculous.

We're any fitted or just one size fits all ?

Not sure. I just seen many different styles of the fronts of the hats. I had my 3 year old and 1 year old with me. Not really the best time to check out the hats.

On the plus side, slower traffic will give everyone additional time to more fully appreciate the Swiss clock-like, ultra-precise synchronization of the stoplights.

Stoplights are my nemesis. I avoid them at all costs. :glare:

"And let me tell you, the women’s hockey program and swimming and diving programs earned the title of “championship caliber.”

The UND Women's Hockey program was a "championship" level program, huh?  What championships did they win?

    Make it stop.

Since the women's team has never finished below fourth place since the twins were here.....

  5. First thing the Minnesota Wild need to change.....drop the Minnesota part. When it comes to the words Minnesota and Championships, they don't mesh well. :D

Edit: That's ALL Minnesota professional sports. (Except those 2 Baseball ones.)

I  understand the sadness, the anger, all that. But really, UND WIH was totally blindsided?  They didn't see any of this coming?   Once the second round of  $ cuts was announced, it was obvious at least 1 or 2 sports would be gone.   And when info. came out that legal experts on Title IX were consulted, a lot of us thought whoa, it could be women's hockey.  But they didn't have any idea?  How can that be.

    Sense of Entitlement-

The definition of entitlement is: the feeling or belief that you deserve to be given something (such as special privileges). A sense of entitlement complex is linked with narcissism and borderline personality disorder.

Absolutely, as a UND fan, I hope they never switch back to on campus sites. It's clear that the Midwest sites of the past can't make money, so those schools have quit bidding, the only real competition UND has in the West is schools that would bid the Xcel (if that's the case, the X could host the Midwest regional). There's no competition for them. Keep this rotation going!

I think SF will be really successful, as long as UND keeps the streak of making the tournament going. SF is a nice sized city with a strong USHL base, I bet we see a decent sized turnout from SF residents that are hockey fans (couple thousand). Add UND fans (6-7K) and sprinkle in fans from the other schools and you should have no problem getting 9K in the arena.

Rapid City has a pretty decent hockey system in place. Might get some fans from there too. Hockey is also growing a bit in Aberdeen and Brookings with their NAHL teams. So a few fans from there might travel as well.
