Anyone else think it's been hurting us to not have Seible?

He's had some big hits but I'd really like to see he and Flowers show that they can actually tackle instead of hit. I have liked his play so far though.

Running a 4-3, for the time being, could help. We have plenty of DL. DT: Greer, Tank, Schmitz, and Cieslak DE: Dranka, Greely, Bennett, Wilson, Engwal ILB: Disterhaupt, Rastas, Richman, .................Murray, Nevermann OLB: Lawrence, Palmborg, Turner, Haas Then once we get enough guys back to run our 3-4 properly we can go back but also have the 4-3 in our back pocket

I've wanted Bennett at OLB from day 1. He should be at least 250. No way he should be only 235 at this stage. Once Haas fills out he will be the perfect size. Our ILBs need to be st least 230. Taj Rich should be the average body type for those guys.

Did they even perform concussion protocol on him? Kinda like that hit from the UNI guy which was a legit plain as day targeting they kept him in the game after getting smoked in the head. I have an issue with that. He was knocked out briefly on both plays and they kept him in there. That's a problem. Check on him and if he's fine put him back in.

The level of his head changes right before impact. At full speed there is only so much you can ask a defender to do. Hit to the head? Obviously. Defenseless player? Nope. Penalty? Depends on the ref. Sliding? He hadn't even touched the ground yet. It's easy to nitpick replays but at full speed there is no way they could claim intent and kick Tamas out for this hit. I don't like hits to the head at all but this one is just as much on Streveler as it is on the defender.

Here is a list of LBs who could have been on our roster but are no longer on the team for various reasons. Most of these are ILBs. OBrien (cheap shot), Walton (booze), Hartley (not sure), Harmston (can't remember), Baker (can't remember), Poole (blow), Marler (cut?). You can see why we're in the situation we're currently in. We should have brought in a couple JUCO LBs.
