  1. Yes. Use a white liner. I’ve used nicerink brand. Need about 4 inches ice to skate on. Depending on the age of your kids you can go smaller or larger areas. I’ve rarely zammed. Just clear the snow off and the sun will keep it fairly smooth.

Yeah sucks being game of the week makes it harder for everyone to see it.

Charleston Southern plays at NC State at 11:30 Central Time tomorrow morning on ESPN3, I'm going to use that game to test to see if I can get it.

It’s the only matchup between MV teams this weekend as far as I can tell.

If athletes are going to be treated as employees, how long until we see contracts that specify length/duration of employment and include buyout fees?

And does the academic side matter? Can an athlete play “college” football as long as the contract specifies? Is this like minor league baseball now? Could the athlete play for as many years as they want until they get “called up” to the NFL?

Three players from Northeastern transfer to ASU within a day of each other.

Semptimphelter the goalie and the two Jackson brothers.

    I’m sorry miss Jackson!…

Let's face it this is not even debatable, 1960 is and always will be the best jersey.

Hard to argue but the 1976 Team USA Canada Cup jerseys are sweet too.

    Lol.
Planetearth wonders why legal immigration while we secure borders, the right to bear arms, and reducing taxes so we can keep more of our personal earned income are controversial topics for any American?

For pro, shop.nhl.com would be the safest place to ensure authenticity.  Each team typically has a team store with both physical and online stores.  You might find some occasional bargains at major retailers, who are generally going to be stocking legit stuff, but don't expect to see significant markdowns for current jerseys.

You'll be rolling the dice with online sellers such as eBay and Amazon.  If it's really cheap, and seems too good to be true, it's probably counterfeit.

For college, you can visit each school's bookstore online (as well as athletic departments that have separate pages), but beware that D1 hockey is not as big of a deal in most places as it is at UND, so some items will be hard to find/non-existent.  Conference home pages will also have shopping links in many cases.

    Thanks.

Opinions on Reebok Premier vs Fanatics Breakaway vs K1s? Any other brands I’m missing?  I prefer the embroidered vs paint versions.

  8. This is just an general Jersey question:  For those of you who dabble more than myself, what brand/websites are best to purchase from for new college/pro hockey jerseys?

    Thanks

I don’t listen to Trump cuz I can’t stand to listen to him. You seem to think when I expect normal intelligent people to act civilized I am making any supportive/critical  comment about Trump or our other politicians. I’m not because it’s not the time or place.
The issue is how best to deal with this virus. You have zero basis to claim we wouldn’t be in the situation we are in if not for him. It is divisive and counterproductive.
In answer to your question, yes we can be tested. One of my colleagues was tested last week because of possible exposure. One of my patients was tested yesterday and we didn’t ask the state for permission. We are setting up a drive up testing station and will soon be able to do the testing in our small rural hospital here in Minnesota.
I have no idea what people in the metro area are doing, but if we can do these things in rural hospitals in Minnesota then the big city physicians should be able to figure it out.
There is no indication for everyone  to be tested. We follow the guidelines recommended by Infectious Disease specialists and the CDC. I’ve only taken care of over 100,000 patients over the years. I have ER, ICU, Combat experience and I don’t know how the response team acted and reacted. How do you know so much. How many patients do you care for?  Are you on the Trump team with first hand info?
I don’t have all of the answers,  but I’m learning. I will attend a briefing at 7 am to update our local protocols and evaluate what we are doing well and where we need to improve. I am going to log in to a live Mayo Clinic presentation tomorrow afternoon that includes an Infectious Disease update. My sister in law is a recognized world authority on tuberculosis and has a lengthy list of publications on TB but also other Infectious Diseases including Ebola.  She has done contract work for the CDC and speaks to government health departments all over the world on tuberculosis.  I get my info from those sources not the Star Tribune.
With all of that, you seem to know more about all of this than I and other medical people.  We would be happy to pay you to come here and give us a presentation on COVID-19.
