Wait what? Are we playing a big sky schedule or a summit schedule in 2018 and 2019? If we are playing a Big Sky schedule how would that even work?

So we are screwed in basketball?

We had no rivalries in Big Sky football. There was no game where you had to stop and watch it. The games were fun but there was no true rival. There was no hostile away crowd. Just look at the atmosphere for a Minnesota hockey game or NDSU football game. When I was at UND, they restarted the basketball rivalry with NDSU and that first game had way more intensity and craziness than any other basketball game. I went to quite a few basketball games and quite frankly the atmosphere was very boring. The only thing that came anywhere close was Weber State in basketball and that was mainly gaining steam do to postseason games, but was still nowhere near the other rivalries we have.

Damn that place is tiny

IDK why people think the big sky is such a great conference. The MVFC is a better football conference and the summit is a better basketball conference. Does anything else even matter?

I mean you might get a 12 seed instead of a 16 seed which is a much better match up. I would much rather face a 5 seed than a 1 seed and get blown out.

UND also is finalizing a move to the Missouri Valley Football Conference. MVFC presidents will vote on the move Wednesday. It is expected to pass. I am loving it

Why are we worrying about next year's team? We will bring in new young talent. Let's wait and see what we have then before we go all chicken little. There is also alot of season left this year. Let's enjoy it.

I have had a little bit to cool off. Here is my take. Duluth is a very good team and we always struggle with them even when we are good. If we lay an egg next weekend against CC than it's going to be a long uphill battle. I still think we have the makings of a pretty good team but we also have alot of flaws. I thought we might be able to get by after losing so many defenseman last year, but It really has affected us all the way down to Cam. At this point I am hoping to get to Fargo and hope some magic happens.

I miss Hak too right about now. He hardly ever got beat back to back nonetheless 4 straight. Hak always had us going strong in the second half.

I mean they beat Union and BC they just can't compete with UMD for some reason
