I don't know why we are discussing Hakstol after this game anyways. The team was ready to play and for the most part out played Boston. Couple weak goals let in by Zane is what did us in. Not an unprepared team.

I think Zane comes back. Boston is pretty stacked at the goalie position. They have 2 goalies in the AHL with .920+ save percentage. One having .930 and the other being Malcolm Subban. I don't know where he would end up playing next year if he signed with Boston. Play here one more year and then sign with a team without a log jam at goalie.

Yeah. That 6 month age difference is huge.

And you do realize that we are talking about them coming into college right. Toews had 39pts in 42 games his Freshman season. Eichel has 55pts in 32 games and people are saying those 2 are very comparable. I am not saying he will end up being better than Toews is as a pro or a college player, but think as a prospect coming in he is a level up from Toews.

Higher than Toews level. From what I have been reading people are curious who is going to be better between him and Eichel. So that level. Very likely he will be first pick in the draft next year.
