I think we stay hot. Net a couple ones early and we could be in for our biggest goal total of the year. Bemidji keeps us under 3 goals, I think it's a close one, but I don't think they will... 6-1 good guys... Parks, Rocco, Gaarder, Mark x2, Mattson... Zane with 20 saves.

You guys have any idea why USCHO and CHN have two different PWR rankings? USCHO says t19 for UND and CHN says 15... I vote for 15

I asked Schloss in the herald chat last week and he thought Mantha would probably play another year in the USHL. He thought the guys that will be in for sure next year are forwards Schmaltz, Olson, and Simonson, D Poolman, and G Johnson. He said the questionable ones will be Gersich, Poganski, and Wilkie but if any of them come I would guess it would be Gersich. Also wonder about some who have been committed but not really produced like Voltin and Rowe and if they will ever make it to UND.
Completely forgot about Olson....I really liked his numbers too. Forgot about Simonson however I do not think he will play much, if at all, his first year. I would not be opposed to Gersich playing another year in juniors....he was a Soph in high school last year so obviously he was accelerating his schooling. Who is G. Johnson? Also, I have a hard time figuring out where Voltin and Rowe fit in....they'll most likely need to play more juniors....which could not hurt their development has they are not excelling in that league.

With this being on CBSSN and my hotel not having it in the channel line up, how do I determine if BWW or another sports might have it. I currently have crappy phone service (Verizon) but have internet (ATT). This is in sheethole Williston.
Just call them. I had to do the same for the BU game when they were on NESN. Just tell them to look for College Hockey on CBS Sports. They'll find it if it's there.

Even if they sweep (which they have to almost) it won't do much our pairwise ranking. It's odd, we have the same record as Miami, split with Miami (away), and have a better winnning percentage within the NCHC and yet we are way behind them in the pairwise. I'm guessing no one could have called that before the start of the season. I'm still shocked how bad the NCHC's non-conference record is. That tie against Vermont and BU series hurt us pretty bad.
Agreed. I guess I didn't see Vermont even being a bubble team. BU I would have thought would at least be a TUC at this point.
Regardless of this week and the Pairwise, we just gotta keep winning.

wrong.

This squad is at 21 in the Pairwise. Vermont...yes the same horrible Vermont team that opened the season at the Ralph...is a bubble team now at 14. A split vs CC does what? Just makes it less likely this team hosts a NCHC playoff series not to mention missing the NCAA's.
Where are you seeing 21? I see 17? Just wondering...

If there is going to any kind of 2nd half Hak lead surge it starts tonight.
This team goes out and beats CC rallying as a "team" after Tambo pulled a dousche and bailed.

I think it'd have to be in mop up fashion against the Thunderbirds, if we get to that point. This is a recruiting tool. Not like the exhibitions against the U.S. Under-18 team... Sure we'll be guarded against getting a player hurt or playing a top-line too much, but I have a feeling this is a couple of games that Hak and Co. really want to win.

I take exception to you saying that hockey is our "ONLY" sport. Miami has a very good football and basketball history. Miami basketball has 4 sweet 16 appearances and Miami Football has a Top 25 all-time winning percentage in D1 history has beaten many Top 15 teams in bowls. Our bball and football teams stink right now but we would still beat UND in both sports even now.
You wouldn't beat us in basketball this year... football, yes... basketball, no.

Having 12 13 year old girls over for a "movie night" tonight for my daughter's B-Day.
Hoping for at least a tie to ease the sting of the 4 hours between 6-10 pm when all the girls are at our house. BTW...I'll be watching the game.3-3...Rocco, Mark Mac and yes...Chyzyk!!!
