i had two options for away trips this year. this weekend in denver or holdout hopes of a trip to pittsburgh. glad I didn't shell out thousands for this weekend(positive) and at this point looks like I have no reason to keep tickets for frozen four.

UFC instead of Sioux vs. Denver? In GRAND FORKS? Really?DirecTV and Dish carry ROOT in their respective Sports Packs. I called Tailgaters here in Fargo and they are going to be airing it. I'm not sure who in Grand Forks might carry it especially being as most bars will probably want to show the UFC fights... I'd call around

The ones downtown,Hilton,The St.Paul,Crowne Plaza,Kelly Inn,Holiday Inn,are all full now,but there should be some cancellations between now and then. You'll find Sioux fans all over town.

Sorry,automatic disqualification.Depending on which day you catch me, I'm still bitter about the conference shakeup and alternate the blame between WI, PSU, Denver and UND. If you want another self-loathing fan I guess I'd be a good fit. Oh yeah, and if you don't mind me not hating the Gophers with every ounce of my being, I might be OK.

Home game at Century Center. WIN. Saturday: Another home game at T.D. Ameritrade. Wind,cold,snow,rain,bad ice, delays, $8.00 beer. Thousands of Sioux fans, WIN, seeing Hakstol SMILE during fan salute. Sunday: snow day in Sioux Falls, duck races, Schlossman and Miller, FUN. Mon: home (blah) Just a few highlights. The rest-What happens in Omaha stays in Omaha. EPIC!

I live in NW North Dakota, we get the Midco feed through our small, local cable company NCC. There are many, many Sioux hockey fans who watch and follow UND hockey. Many of them elderly, they don't have laptops,hdmi cables or even internet. CBSSN isn't offered through NCC cable. I guess once again they get thrown under the technology bus. Sad.

It wont be the Ralph. But you"re going for the whole weekend experience. Of all the hockey trips I've made, I've never gotten home and thought "gee I sure wish I hadn't gone.(except maybe Denver '08,damn you Nathan Gerbe!)"
