So in the past let's say we had 8 men's and 8 women's sports.....Did all revenue for all sources regardless of teams go in the ADepartment's bank account?
From there did the ADepartment than say...ok....UND hockey coach you get 80k a year....top 3 in the wcha probably behind minny and wisco?
Did they then say football coach you get 75k which the top two of the ncc? assisantant coaches pool was top 1, 2 or 3?
Same thing with basketball coaches.....60k...top 1 or 2 or 3 of ncc?
Flash forward to KEM and REA......revenue goes into REA coffers instead of a general ADepartemnt account and from there "they (hockey only people)" say......
Bubs you get 450k and 400k for assistants which is far far more than 2nd in the nchc.....
Bubba you get 220k which is good for 5th in the mvfc and your assistants can split 300k which gets you......not much considering ndsu pays 650k to it's assistnats.
and so forth and so forth for bball, vball, and everything else (less than peer schools?)
i'm confused, I thought the situation with the REA was about ticket revenue, now your claiming the REA is setting salaries?

Wouldn't Landry have had a contract that held him here? did he have to buy it out?

someone pointed out that a snipe that hit iron and went out would be cured by using smaller nets.... could that actually be a thing? I mean we have an altitude room to deal with 2 opponents, why not nets for practice that are 3/4" smaller than regulation? Would it hurt the goalies?

Does the REA manage ticket sales for all UND sports or just football?

I would think the UND president has to have at least raised an eyebrow to this saga... the gripes of the fans should probably be landing on his desk, not Chaves, he appears worthless.

We can wear whatever we want as long as we get 6 points.
Are you calling for a Ned Braden homage to the crowd after saturday's TCoS?

They don't seem to concerned about Central Michigan's name, but to hell with the rest.
Not familiar that situation...

Been my opinion for a long time that removing the Fighting Sioux name was a Chippewa jab at a long time foe...

One nice thing about the QB race for 2024 is that Landry will not have any preconceived notions on who "should" start based on when or why they were recruited. I know that shouldn't have mattered even if Danny were the OC / QB coach, but I'm sure it is harder to remove yourself from rationale like who's been in the program longer, etc.
You are assuming the "love all things Jerry" fan club on here have not launch a campaign on Coach Landry.....

I assume she would write a song about it...

I think the big ice helped out our power play as the defenders didn't pressure the points as much as an NHL sheet. Clowns taking no penalties last night definitely helped them.
-
imho, ncaa is using 3v3 followed by a shootout to mimic the NHL, so they can counter major junior claims that thier league better prepares players for the show... what the nhl does filters down...

Kunz is probably better defensively than Perron, and Gaber needs that.

I have been wondering if the teams recent performance vs. beginning of the season is because in the beginning thr questions about the "new" defense spurred the forward group to put in extra effort into thier defensive responsibility. Fast forward a few months....

I have only a tiny knowledge and interest in Chaves or football, but him coming from Eastern Washington, my thought was he would be good for the football program? So why is he seem to be "quiet quitting"? what happened at EWU? Did he see something here that pushed him to this strategy?
