OK. I was just going off of Moy's Bracketology, in which he used H2H to break ties first and then RPI.

The first tiebreaker is H2H, which UMD wins with their 1-0-1 record vs. the Sioux. See above... (1-0-1 vs. UND)

What's this PACT everyone mentions? Was this what caused the players who were drafted by NHL teams to stay on and try to win a Championship?

They should...they do for basketball... Not really fair to the teams that have to wait...but better for TV ratings and AD $$. Which do you think the NCAA and ESPNU care more about?

It's not that the NCAA committe uses the PWR, the PWR uses the committee's method of selecting the field to "predict" (with 100% accuracy) who will make the field. H2H is only one of the factors the committee uses. UW had a better record against Teams Under Consideration (TUC), and common opponents, as well as a better RPI ranking. The "human element" is non-existent now in the NCAA field selection, like it or lump it.
