What JUCO's are better than the girls we have now? You can't tell me that a JUCO could play D1 better than the girls we have now...........

Little side note from the WBB notes on the fightingsioux.com.....How does Kimbrough go from being 12th on the all-time scoring list with 1,480 last week and then this week get to 3rd with 2,000 points? Did I miss a game where she scored 520 points? haha And did anyone find a free live-stream for the games in AZ this weekend? Or is radio the best we are going to get?

The athlethes are the ones playing the game aren't they? It's up to them what they do with the tools that the coach gives them in PRACTICE. I think the girls gave up in the last game before coach Roebuck did, you can only yell and scream in a time out for so long, I think he took all his time outs right away in the second half. They are big girls....they need to take some responsibility for this move up to D1....don't get me wrong I'm not saying it's NEVER the coaches fault but I watched the game online and those girls gave up in the first 15 mins of the game....hard to coach when you have girls sitting on the bench pouting when they get in foul trouble......

If Kierah is going to carry this team, she needs to at least attempt to post up when she is in the game, she's letting them front her with no contest. Looks like she has already given up.....not a good sign from your leading scorer

Langen recently had a game of 23 pts and 22 rbs.....avg 16pts 18rbs, heard she is coming home at Christmas and not going back to finish out the season, guess the team only practices 3 times a week, team is really young as in 17-20 playing for a "professional" team, supposidly only the Americans being paid on her team so 2 being paid, 6 volunteer players, doesn't sound like too great of a situation. But to be averaging rebounds like that something must be going good.....

Kierah has no shots because UWGB did their homework and knew exactly who they had to double-team. Someone else needs to step up for this team.....

I know that the 4 out 1 in offense has worked great for the sioux in the past but I think they need something else to fall back on, the guards are not the type to take their own opportunities to drive because they are so programmed to know where to pass when to pass, there is no freelance with this team. Obviously in the first few mins they threw the ball in the post with double coverage EVERYTIME because that's how their offense flows, the don't just "play"! The guards need to start looking to get to the basket because Kierah and Whitney are being doubled quite well.

Looks like Wisconsin Green Bay has a pretty tall roster....their senior center I have heard is a pretty tough player down in the post, hopefully Kierah can contain her The girls will be gone all week, this will be a big test for them to see if they can pull off a win or two.

Of course they ran out of gas....they are not used to this type of scheduling. They are not used to being on the road this long and playing teams that can actually compete with them. It's no ones fault, but going from even last years schedule where they left on a Wednesday, played Thursday and Saturday and then didn't play again until the next weekend there is more recovery time, I don't think the girls knew what they were getting into with this schedule

Hopefully the team can play better defense against Wyoming than Montana....
