  1. I thought Harvard scored at first judging by the crowd reaction. (on radio) You could really hear the sieve chant after that one! GREAT ROAD FANS!

before the game they were talking about the ammount of sioux fans there... they said its more than any of the other ECAC teams they play

  2. Link to listen please.

just go to fighitngsioux.com you can listen thorugh sioux extra even if you get the free account. or you can pay the 50 for a year or 9 for a month and watch the game... the video is not great, but its better than just listening.

  3. quick question, did their announcers just call duncan big and tough? or did I hear that wrong?

Haha, i heard that too.. watching on Sioux Extra... Dunc is what 5 foot 7? he's HUGE! maybe they mean his skills.

  4. I agree with you Siouxthru.... Anderson, in my opinion, is a HORRIBLE ref!... He is about as bad as Schmidt... There were quite alot of areas in the game that should not have been called or should been called. For example, it was pretty obvious that Alex Stalox was acting when he went down. However, there was a Bulldog player who jumped into the air and took out Duncan. None the less, I would rather take the tie and 1 point way more than a Loss.

I feel pretty confident going into tomorrows game. I think we will attach hard and that we are the better team and should get out with the W.

  5. pretty much. i saw bu-unh on last night. oh well. there arent many sioux games we cant find a way to see. uaa games are webcasted as msu are usually. the games vs minny, sconnie and du are usually on fox regional stations. tech are webcasted for most part. only a few arent on in some sort of fashion but yes it would be nice to see more wcha games on national tv. a few years back they had some wcha but not lately.

It would be nice to have live coverage on TV. Webcasts are great, but tv is alot better quality and much easier to follow the puck. I am in fargo and with Cable One all i get FSSN and FSN for gopher crap... are there any other people in fargo who get differant or better options? what other options are there in fargo to get NHL and college hockey asside from FSN-N and FSSN?

  6. this thread has gone down the toilet. goon said it best in his blog with the old saying "he that is without sin among you, let him cast a stone.....".

    John Chapter 8 Verse 7:

"When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, "If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her."

lol but its true... who are we to judge.... none the less, I am confused. Has he been found guilty or has he not been charged? there seem to be stories to both sides...

  7. The Blues, much like Chicago, have been hyping their new players and creating some "buzz" to get butts into the seats. While Oshie will probably get more press, I expect Porter to be a very pleasant surprise if he keeps playing like he has. I was there with some 'hawks fans and we had some fun with the Blues' fans in our area and at a local bar. STL definitely has some good hockey people.

Have those cities been having a hard time filling the seats?... I was watching the Wild games when they played on the road against Atlanta and Carolina. I was shocked at how emtpy the seats were, There were whole sections that only had a few people there. I have never seen a home wild game that was not for the most part packed. I worry sometimes for the NHL. We need to get some more hockey fans in this country.

  8. I was at that game. It was a real pleasure watching a number of former Sioux players play so well in key roles. STL is pretty high on Oshie and the Blues right now.

I have been curious as to how the Blues would accept Oshie. I figured they would be accepting, but he's been getting alot more hype then I actually expected. Its going to be fun to watch his career unfold. It was pretty fun to see how the two biggest players in that game for the most part were Toews, Oshie and Porter with his first NHL goal.
