We seemed to be like this last year. Splitting with teams we SHOULD sweep and sweep the teams you'd think we split with.

We did not play bad that first period. After that first goal, however, we seemed to loose our attack and drive. That culminated with that second goal and we have been playing agressive hockey to try to play catch up. But that agression has led to foolish penalties... We NEED to get that drive that we had last night and in the first period and get an early goal withing a few minutes of the start of this 3 period to get us going again.

Four, Eidsness has become such a reliable goalie for UND, the players have a lot of faith in him and this gives them the confidense to force shots on him from out wide, Sure he may have slipped up once at the Final 5 but it was just a lillte focus slip up, so at least he slipped up then and knows to be focused on even the most innocent plays and he will be ready for the regoinal, he will be solid in net this weekend just as he has been all year.I agree with most of your points except (partially) with this one. Eidsness, I believe, made more than just a one time slip up. But it was a HUGE mistake that, in my opinion, totally caused a bad chain reaction for the Sioux. And the second goal on Eidsness against Duluth was also a BAD goal on Eidsness. He should have been in MUCH better position for it. I just hope that last weekend was a one time 'weekend' fluke and not foreshadowing of his age and inexperience in these situations coming through. I give him all the credit for the season, but the Sioux's defense and PP REALLY have to step it up a notch.
Also Hexstal needs to SERIOUSLY settle down and Finley needs to pick up his game at defense.

If the Sioux advance and beat UNH and end up playing BU or Ohio, that game will only be on ESPNU? Just the first round will be on ESPN2? That sucks.... D**n College basketball and its television coverage. It's disappointing how such a boring sport gets so much attention. lol... Ok, well it was fun watching the Bison play... but man, College (and NHL) hockey needs more coverage! I live in Fargo and see more Minnesota HS hockey than i do college and NHL..
Wanted to get dish so I could get Center Ice Package, but then I wouldn't be able to FSSN.... ahh... Life for a hockey fan is rough.

What an F'in joke we could not buy a goal. WE lost this game the same way we lost in the GLI NO GOALS!!!! I am sick of the gopher fans around me and all the cocky a** comments!!! We better win tomm and I want the Gophers out!!!
Seems to me like you notice the same thing as me as to how much more cocky Gopher fans get when there team is TERRIBLE that year. I would LOVE to watch the Gophers just fail a year and end up like Tech this year or Alaska last year. Boy that would be good to see them fall FLAT on there face instead of just this slow, hopeful fall.

while i'm disappointed with the sioux loss (I always am), it warms my heart to know that the Bulldog's win probably ended any chance the goofs have of making the NCAA...
Amen to that! The only thing as sweet as seeing the sioux win is watching the gophers FAIL! lol

well when a team makes it its far from worthless, the key is winning saturday and getting momentum to the ncaa tourney. umd needed 2 wins in the final 5 to get in ncaa tourney so far from worthless for them. just win tomorrow vs a down and out uw team!!
Yeah, You are very right. I am just VERY frustrated with that game.. I play hockey myself. And to watch hockey like that makes me sick.... haha I will be supporting the Sioux 150% tomorrow. but tonight its going to take quite a few Jack and cokes to settle the nerves from that.

the Final Five is a worthless tournament anyway... We already proved to be the best through a season and with the mcnaughton cup.....The real games come when we place in the NCAA's....None the less, this was COMPLETE crap. I was about to through a puck through my TV about 10 times. I CANNOT believe Eidsness let that first goal go... the game would have been VERY different had that not happen... That second goal as well SHOULD have been stopped..... Wow, I need to settle down.

Does anyone know if there is live streaming of the Wisconsin-Denver game going on? I am stuck at work and can't get FSN but would like to see how both teams are playing so I know what the Sioux have to go against tomorrow after we beat the Bulldogs;)

You should get a FTA sattelite system through PSB...he will help you with whatever you need....
There are many networks available in addition to FSSN...
If you have a plasma/LCD with a PC input, you could hook your computer up to your TV and watch it that way, that's what I do. Not the greatest quality, but it works. It will work if you have an s-video out on your computer also. The FTA satelite system is near HD quality.
I am not sure what this is.. do they offer TV? or just satellite dishes where you need to find other networks? Maybe we can just start a petition to get FSSN to broadcast in HD over the web

I'm not sure about this, since I have been a DirecTV subscriber for about 15+ years, but I think only the cable companies (Midco and Cable One) will carry FSSN.
As of yesterday, we are signed up to switch to Dish. DirecTV will offer a free HD DVR to new customers, but someone that has been with them for 15 years has to pay $199 for it. We will now get 2 HD DVR's and another regular receiver, a better program package with more channels and will now be paying less $$$.
Still no FSSN though
I live in rural Thompson, so have no option to change to Midco to get FSSN.
Thanks for the information. I heard that you cannot get midco in Fargo, just West Fargo? You said your switching to Direct TV, do you know any of the prices and what not or any of what they offer? I do get SiouXtra, so I could watch the games online if need be. I just really would rather get them through TV.

Hey Everyone,
So I live in Fargo, ND and currently am getting cable and digital cable through Cable One. I am not a fan of Cable One at all and am moving to a new place over the next two weekends. I really want to go to a Dish TV network (direct tv, dish network, etc..),however, I worry I won't be able to get the Fighting Sioux Sports Network if I do this. Do any of you who live in Fargo have Dish TV and know for SURE that you can get Sioux hockey games? If you can, which provider, package, and channel does FSSN come on? Thanks!

I am a little worried about these upcoming games. They will be pretty huge games and watching how the Sioux played the Beavers, I am a little worried for these.
But none the less, I got faith for the boys in Green. Let's get a HUGE sweep against the Gophers Guys!
