So a sports bar with a bazillion TV's can't spare one for hockey? Damn March Madness!

Funnny, wsdSiouxfalls....my hubby is just heading there for a pizza! If we can't make it work out for this weekend, maybe we can get it figured out for NCAA regionals and Frozen Four....what about a place like Champs...would they have the games broadcast?

UND '95 grad living in SF...but in mpls this weekend

Planning on attending the Fighting Sioux vs. Fighting Iris Sat night game (11/27) and wondering if any of you out there find the moniker "Fighting Irish" offensive, or as the NCAA would term it "hostile and abusive"? Thinking that perhaps a public show of objection fo use of "Fighting Irish" name would garner the attention of the NCAA and/or media? Possibly via use of signs or t-shirts that show we are offended and find it hostile and abusive. What do you think? We have some ideas for t-shirts/signa I know some will view this as ND fans being sore losers re: our name change, however it is my belief that it should be an all or nothing approach for the NCAA. In other words, if this is truly what the NCAA's beliefs are, then NO teams should be given the privelege to use names that target specific cultures or nationalities. Anyway, just throwing this idea out. Please let me know if you plan to attend this particular game and if you would be interested in participating in our little "grassroots movement". Can any of you tell me about where the student seating is in the Ralph.....I was able to get some tickets after student seating opened up today but have no idea where the seats are. My previous tickets I've had up there don't look like this. This is what's listed on my receipt. Thanks in advance! Section STUD Row G30 Seats 136 - 138
