The point is that the sky is not blue in your world, more like Kelly Green. To insinuate that playing a NAIA school is equal to playing a 1AA school because they were a better team two years ago. Come on??? You got beat by an NAIA team who's QB even said UND was not the best team they played that year. I also continue to read that Texas Tech is clearly the best team that either school has played because they were ranked #1 in the country (but nobody states that it was the year before and they lost the QB and a WR drafted in the 1st round of the NFL ). TT was nothing more than an average team that year and still won by 25 points. The point is that you can you can still have a rivalry AND repect the other side and some of the things they've. NDSU made a good move and it has worked out pretty well AND UND will be fine in the near future. You are as bad as some of the Bison fans you rip on.

So was the Texas Tech team the year BEFORE the Sioux played them.

GT can afford to play the Wagners of the world as they still draw 16,000 + (I believe they had 17,000 for Lafayette). What does he get for palying the Sioux? An extra 2,000 people?? The Sioux on the other hand would go from 8,000 people to a full building and need this game alot more than NDSU does.

The Gophers schedule the Regional teams because they fill the stadium and THINK they should win the game .It's about the money they wouldn't get if the played an FCS school from somewhere else. I can't remember anyone (other than Sid Hartman and Punky Brewster) from the Gophers saying they are better and were willing to prove it. They are scared stiff of these games and will be until Kill gets them back up to speed.
