  1. Merry CHRISTmas to all SIOUX fans. Go SIOUX!
  2. still looking for three for Friday 1/27/12, and five for Saturday 1/28/12. Let me know if you can help. Thanks.
  3. Alright, a great Sioux fan came thru for me with two tix for Friday night of Wisconsin, so due to my miscalculation earlier, I still need three for Friday and five for Saturday night. Any help would be appreciated. Go Sioux!
  4. Offer still stands, however, I only need 3 more tickets for each nite now. Thanks.
  5. I am trying to put together a weekend for some former co-workers in Grand Forks for a Sioux hockey weekend. Due to changing jobs and screwing up my schedule, I did not know until recently which weekends would work. We are shooting for Jan. 27 and Jan. 28 against Wisconsin. A little late notice I realize, but I am still in need of 8 tickets for each night, which is a lot I know. If anyone out there is looking to unload tickets, I am willing to buy. I don't care at this point about trying to get everyone together, just want to get in the door. Please email me at beazer7821@gmail.com or text at 701-391-3472. Thanks.
  6. Yep, their called legacy recruits. And unfortunately, recruiting is an inexact science. Not everyone ends up being Zach Parise. Some guys are not destined to be superstars. That's life champ. Now you got anymore big insider info for us? You must already have line charts for Friday in Alaska, right bud?
  7. Almost in heaven, ur kind of a dbag. With all of your insider info and hockey knowledge, you must have ur finger on the pulse of this program. U must have been instrumental in the boys having a huge weekend. We are all so grateful (sarcasm laid on thick).
  8. Cool. Thank you. It'll be a few cause my wife took our laptop back to ND this morn, but thanks.
  9. Maybe someone could explain to me how to post pictures on here. I am apparently slow or missing something, cause I can't figure it out. Anyway, I am currently in Houston for two weeks for work and my wife and kids came down for several days for a mini-vacation. We went to a Houston Aeros game in order to watch Chay play this past Sunday. We (of course) wore all SIOUX gear, including my two kids, who wore their green SIOUX jerseys. Before the game, we stood next to the glass by the Aeros bench. Chay spotted the green SIOUX jerseys and at one point skated past and butt-ended the glass with his stick right in front of my son, which of course, scared the crap out of him . Chay later flipped a puck over the glass to us. The Aeros ended up winning the game in front of maybe 2000 people, 3-1 over Grand Rapids. Chay played good (of course, I am biased). He played on the third D pairing and had anywhere from 10-15 minutes of ice time. He was also on the 2nd power play unit running point, but the Aeros only had three PP. Chay was not on the ice for any of the goals scored. He was pretty quiet and un-noticeable, which is always ok for a defenseman. He did have one patented Chay rush where he went end to end with the puck and jumped a defender who had fallen behind the opposing net. This did quite a reaction from the crowd. In addition, Justin Fontaine scored one goal and had an assist for the Aeros. The Aeros also had three former CC players: Prosser, Fredheim, and Rau. Spoke briefly with Prosser after the game, and he was very friendly and nice and commented about our SIOUX gear and Chay. Earlier in the week, I made contact with a gal from the Aeros' community relations and explained our situation and love for SIOUX hockey. She arranged for us to meet with Chay after the game outside the locker room. We had to wait 45 minutes or so due to the fact that Chay had to workout after the game, which I think typifies what kind of guy Chay is. Anyway, he finally did emerge and met with us for several minutes. He signed autographs for my kids and took a couple of photos with the kids, too. Chay's comments seemed to indicate that he disappointed about his hockey. Not sure if this was his perception of his play or with his playing time or both. I feel that the guy is doing great for someone that the "experts" felt was too small to have a shot at the NHL. He is getting good playing time in the AHL and made it to final cuts for the big club in his first training camp. I hope and think that he will get his shot and prove the doubters wrong. We also asked him about the atmosphere (or lack thereof) at the Toyota Center. He commented that nothing compares to UND and the Ralph, but of course, we already knew that . Anyway, was going to post a few photos of Chay and the kids, but wasn't smart enough to figure it out - so if someone could enlighten me, I would appreciate it. Go SIOUX forever!!!
  10. Cor-ban for Friday Captain Mario for Saturday (dude has to score at some point right?) Go SIOUX!
  11. Bump. Go SIOUX! Beat the BAD-gers tonite!
  12. Alright, got a somewhat different request. My wife, two kids, and I are in Houston. I have training here for two weeks and they flew down for several days to hang out. So, the Aeros with Chay are in town only once while we're here, on Sunday, 10/23/11. We're going, but don't yet have tickets. Wondering if any SIOUX fans live in the area and have ticket connections. I know I could get tickets, but wouldn't mind getting some good seats from a SIOUX fan. Let me know. My email is beazer7821@gmail.com. my phone is 701-391-3472. In addition, got a hold of the Aeros player event coordinator, explained our situation and our love for SIOUX hockey, and she arranged for us to meet with Chay after the game. Pretty sweet.
  13. Well I appreciate the offer, but it is for my wife and I, and I know she would not go for singles. I would need em paired up. The price is good, but I'll have to pass. I am still looking if anyone has two together for both nights. Go SIOUX!
  14. I am looking for 2 tix for friday and saturday nites at mariucci. Totally spaced out the oct. 5th date for purchasing from the goofer site, plus would prefer to buy from a SIOUX fan. So if anyone has extras they want to unload, let me know. Thanks.
  15. I have one ticket for sale for both days of the Ice Breaker. Tickets are for section 115, Row Q. $85 for both nights. Email me at beazer7821@gmail.com or call 701-391-3472.
  16. Anyone else have issues with the new fighting sioux app? I can get all the videos to play, but when i try to open news articles, the app forces a close. The tech support suggested re-installing the app, but it didn't work.
