have a safe drive down - I recommend going south to Sioux Falls, 1-90 West to Murdo, 83 South to North Platte, I've driven this route since 1995 and found it to be the most pleasant with the least amount of traffic and nicest scenery (no black hills, but that slows you down anyway). Gas up in Watertown or Brookings, Murdo, North Platte (don't get gas near the interstate exits if you can help it, I've saved over $.25 gallon by going to the middle of town in NP). You should make Denver in ~12 hours @ 80-85 MPH, plenty of places to stop along the way, watch for cops in Nebraska on 83 as you get close to North Platte, SoDak is not so bad for cops. Go Sioux! we'll be watching on the big screen. I would love to go, since it's only two hours away from home, but there is just no way possible for me to make it happen this time, next year though...

I've got a 1994 program here, shows Kevin Powell as #1, Toby K was 35, Lembke 31, Todd Jones, #29. Some other names in there that brought back memories, Darren Bear, Akil Adams, Scotty Kirton, Kevin Hoogsteen, Mark Pivetz... I was looking for my Aaron Schweitzer pic can't remember his number, but did get to watch him play in the Minors with the Colorado Springs GOld Kings before it folded...fighting league... PS - 1994 uniforms - Blackhawk logo, and I wish I would have bought a dozen of the damn things.

A signed Hrkac jersey, with the old logo, would probably be the coolest thing I could think of to display in a UND hockey shrine - lucky you.

not off topic at all, it makes sense that if you're going to invest this much cash into satellite why not make the most of it, one reason I'm looking at a larger dish with a motor so I can actually get more channels and use out of the system. As long as REA keeps broadcasting the games FTA I'll do what I can to pick them up, though it's a shame about the sioux shop charging so damn much for a $160 system that really didn't take bandwidth sharing limitations into consideration.
