Just got my new Sports Illustrated today with the Red Sox on the front. I didn't see anything about the Sioux in it. Was this in the actual magazine or just online? You were talking about the real Sports Illustrated and not just our "rip off" Sioux Illustrated, correct? I just figured it was the real thing because in the college magazine it wouldn't be that big of a deal not being national news. Was looking forward to the magazine and news, dissapointed.

Not sure what the poll is about, but voted for McMahon because I don't know who vanilla is.

Vote here against goldy in the mascot challenge. Down with the bucktooth rodent Goldy gave me a hard time for being a Sioux fan at the final five one year and this is a way I might be able to get back at him. If the administrators disapprove I understand. Just thought this would help pass the time for some until Friday arrives.

So the refs can decide the outcome of the game in the 1st period with all of the calls and not in the overtime. COWARDS

Daylight savings.

I don't think it is Hakstol as much as it is a lower talent level this year than we have had in the past. Juniors and Seniors just aren't getting it done. We would have had a very complete team with the 2 offensive stars we lost. Why is it Hakstol's fault? The only thing I could think of is prepartion. He isn't on the ice playing and he has tried different combinations. I wouldn't put the blame solely on him yet.

Maybe we just need a player to break something as Corey Koskie did for the Twins. Break stuff or brawl if things don't go our way.

Thanks Pat! It is great to start learning more about Hak. I really hope that he will turn out to be a strong force as Blais was. Many recruits would always say coaching, facilities and tradition are why they choose UND and I hope Hak can keep bringing them in. This is why it is pretty important to have a good year and show people nothing has changed. I read in the Star Tribune the other day about another kid who is interested in either Minnesota, Boston College or Denver. It would be nice to see UND considered again in those choices. Soar past the Eagles!

We'll do! I'll bring a notepad and pen. Though I hate the gophers, I would like to see a tie or Badgers win because I think they will be a better team later in the season.

I was asked by a secretary, at the school I teach at, if I would like to buy her gopher tickets from her for the Friday Wisconsin game. 6 rows up section 1. Should I go and watch the gopher game live or skip it and be loyal to the team I really care about watching the Sioux on television via satellite? If I go, should I wear my Sioux jersey and who should I pull for? Thanks for the help Sioux fans! Please don't think less of me if I decide to go.
