This is just simply amazing!!! I have to agree with many others that I didn't think this was possible this season. I never fully doubted them and never turned against them, but what a turnaround! After making road trips to watch them in Duluth and even more recently in Bemidji, this is a completely different looking team from even last weekend. Now, for God sakes keep the lines the same and let's do this!!! Sure it is only one weekend of hockey and there are many things that the Gophers have going against them such as not having Lucia, Stoa, being on the road, etc. but the way the Sioux look is unbelievable!!!

Thanks for the information. I was wondering if a website or somebody may have access to sale start dates for tickets of each school so I could mark it on my calendar to get some good seats. I guess I'll have to be patient, which is tough to do.

I am planning out my road trips for next year and was wondering if anybody can post the dates that schedules are released and tickets go on sale for various schools. Thanks in advance! I am very excited to follow our team again next year and now need to find something to do with all of this spare time now in the offseason.

I miss reading the coaches show recap since I am out of the area. Is anybody going to post it anymore now that PCM isn't around anymore for some odd reason? I miss his insight and reading about the things going on behind the scene.

The person who writes for USCHO doesn't give much inside information like INCH does. I miss Todd from last year because his subject categories were much more interesting. I haven't been too impressed reading that column this season because it is usually just has stuff we already know such as who the top performers were and statistics for each team. INCH has some more nitty gritty fun facts and insight. Not to mention that the USCHO person picked Denver to sweep us. We will at least get a split as we always do.
Just something I thought people might want to discuss as I am sure others read these to get fired up for a weekend of hockey.

Just saw it advertised today. I am pretty sure they said that both games would be on local television for subscribers of charter cable! This is the channel that usually has St. Cloud and Mankato games, but it is fun that they are traveling up to GF to cover this series. Just thought people would like to know who don't have satellite.

I know we have always been accustomed to and expecting sweeps each weekend as Sioux fans, but splits really aren't that bad. I also realize that with how much talent we have we should be winning more and scoring some goals. Expectations were very high at the start of the season which gets our hopes up thinking we will be untouchable, but perhaps we don't have all the pieces put together right now. It's tough losing a teammate like Grieco because he was unhappy and I am sure that other players such as Oshie are possibly questioning his decision of staying thinking that this might be easier than he thought, but they need to suck it up and keep plugging away. This isn't a time to get frustrated because if we can keep getting some points each weekend the youngsters will start to pull it together and we will be strong soon. There are already some signs of great play but we just need it more consistenly each night. We need to win this Saturday and hopefully the coaching staff will make some adjustments and give helpful pointers to players. If we can't get points these first few weekends of the season, it will probably be very tough to be at the top of the WCHA, which would be nice for a change.
As Dirty has predicted the Sioux will score a bunch of goals one night and have a rough go the other. So this means that Saturday is a good night to all get together at Sensers to watch the green and white pile it on.

Why didn't somebody say something about this KFGO thing at the beginning of the season? That logging in crap everytime on the fightingsioux website is such a pain. For some reason it is very tough for me to navigate to eventually open up the link. Such a pain. Hopefully this will work the rest of the season.

I first and foremost hope that the Sioux can keep winning, but it is also fun to wish for shutouts along the way. Maybe tonight!!!

Why did Tech start a different goalie tonight? Didn't the one last night earn another start after his performance?

Yeah I caught that too. That is a pretty bad blunder.
I don't like the change either. It doesn't seem like there is enough information about this weekends games. Just a bunch of stuff that we don't really care about.

Even the old ralph, or wait, even the old barn sounds like it was better than BC's current arena. We all know that nothing stands to compare to the Ralph, but this arena in Boston sounds like crap.
I hope their season goes the same way as the arena they play in.
