I am as excited as the next guy to hear one is for sure coming back. I am curious about what his numbers will be next year. they took a big drop with toews leaving and now with oshie gone...just makes me wonder.

this might be old news but blake wheeler announced intentions to turn pro. saw it at collegehockeynews.com. when he says intends to turn pro does that mean he wants to and doesnt' have a contract or what exactly.

i have to say that i am looking forward to our incoming class this year. i have said before that i think we need guys with talent that are going to stay and it doesn't look like anyone of our guys will go extremely early in the draft. i know that you never know who is going to stay or go but i feel good that most of these guys are three to four year players. even toews. which would be great cause i saw him in grand forks and what a tallent he could be .

that really sucks my daughter was looking forward to it. we even went out and bought a picture for it.

I am so looking forward to seeing the Jr. Toews. Probably one of the best midgets i have seen play. i don't think he is like his brother but this team needs a true offensive player.

I agree that they are just college kids and some of us seem to forget that. we were all in college once to and i bet most of us did some things that were not legal. they are under the watchful eye because of who they are and they play for the sioux. my only issue with it is that there are alot of kids in grand forks, including my 6 year old, that look up to these guys and i think they should remember that they are rolemodels whether they want to be or not and it sucks that these kids idols are acting this way.

that makes me think of the last two national titles we won. wow they could skate i remember watching the 97 team play bu and the announcer calling them midgets than no one can skate with. i agree we need a speed team. when you look at the other teams across the country they all have speed. also maybe its time to stop getting the best and having them for a year or two and get guys you can mold for four. when i think of 97 and 2000 i can think of only 1 who left early and that was big mike. i will check that to make sure i am not lying but i can't think of any others.

The only thing i have to look forward to now is taking my 6 year old daughter and son to the fan appreciation day for the first time. We just moved to north dakota and can't wait to thank the boys and get the signatures. does anyone know when they have it each year

i thought it was weird that he reffed all three games when i was under the understanding that if it went to three they switched the refs
