    Sounds like a decent deal in Argentine pesos, but 30 Mexican pesos is pretty cheap :D

    Just actually used the last of my pesos on some new sunglasses from a random street vendor, so I'm going to stick to US Dollars as much as possible instead of this monopoly money

    Exactly. I'm not going to worry about 3 or 4 points this weekend, but the two on the line tonight. That, and finding a parking spot at Mariucci.

    Hmm maybe I should sell my parking spot at my house right by Mariucci since I won't be using it until tomorrow :)

    Hey guys I will be representing the Sioux in the middle of the Gopher student section! My brother in law goes to

    the U and bought me tickets. I might need your backup, as I will surely receive a lot of hell! GO SIOUX!!!!! Look

    for the only guy wearing green and white in a sea of maroon and gold!!!

    Come on down to the front row of 14 on Saturday if you'd like a coke or nacho cheese shower, I could arrange that.

    I'm still wondering what the heck he was doing in Argentina ? Dubay's supplier ;):)

    2 weeks here for school. Worried enough already about getting through customs and on my plane with only an hour and 15 minute layover, I think I'll try and get across the border minus Puffy's coke this time.

    As far as seats in the 10,000 seat Mariucci, what are people's prediction on the percentage of:

    1-Gopher fans

    2-Sioux fans

    3-Empty corporate and student section seats?

    Thanks amigo. Way to get back on Facebook chat last night and chat some hockey, epic fail...

    Will definitely need some luck traveling back. We have an hour and 15 minutes from when we land in Dallas to when our plane leaves for MPLS. That means we have to get all our luggage, clear customs, and hope all our luggage gets back on the plane in that short of a time....does that sound like a disaster or is it just me? I'll be manning up and not waiting for my group...my ass is geting back to MPLS whether the rest of the group makes it or not

    I'm going to hopefully be back early morning to pregame the Sioux/Gophers hard, then hopefully can wake up early enough to make the trek over to the Metrodome, going to be an AWESOME sports week/weekend starting tonight with Gophers/MSU.

    I think your prediction of 5 goals for our team might even be a bit much. And I don't think UND gets 8 either, I guess I see this as a more low scoring series but who knows, anything can happen with such a big rivalry.

    I have heard the duck hunting is good down there.

    Ah, very well could be. I'm in Buenos Aires so I really couldn't tell you, right in the heart of the big city.

    Went to Igauzu falls and hung out in the jungle for a few days this past weekend so that was as close as I got to a remote place here in Argentina, and I'm guessing you won't find many ducks in the jungle :( Other than that the only weather I've seen is the steaming hot insides of bars haha.

    Are you going to end up making it down for the game? Hope all is well.

    Goon, AZ, everyone, the big weekend is here.

    Sadly, I'm in Argentina right now so I'm going to be missing the Friday night game. Missing one game but will be back Saturday morning and there in full force Saturday.

    If anyone has any questions, please feel free to ask me and I'll be more than willing to help out. Hope to run into some of you at the game, let me know if you're around!

    My prediction:

    Split. Sadly I think this would be considered optimistic. The Gophers lose Friday, then make my return to the US a good one on Saturday with a win. I'm not so sure that either team is capable of being confident of a sweep at this time. The Gophers have been good against crappy teams lately, which shows really nothing to me at all. Cepis does look like the real deal from what I have seen though.

    I guess he doesn't know it's just a blip on the radar, they just beat a very bad MTU team by two goals in a weekend series.

    Yeah, what's the old saying, "Misery Loves Company"? I guess we're coming to visit.

    I'm not surprised we're only 1 point apart in the standings, but I didn't think it would be 6th and 7th place. :huh:

    Misery indeed loves company, especially when that company is a hated rival. Although I'd much rather have that 1 point apart be 1st and 2nd place where our teams were half decent.
