we FAIL.

You most definitely were, we got smoked today. Didn't convert any of our good chances and our defense totally broke down. Goalie also played studly.

It was a real tough night defensively last night for the guys, he bailed us out multiple times.

Maybe it'll work for me today? Too many Minnesota sports to not try it... Basketball = Win, Football: Hawkeyes = Dead, Hockey = SWEEP Okay so I seriously doubt all of that will happen, but it's worth trying

1. Minnesota - Kangas will continue to give up his 1-2 goals per game, and the Stoa/Schroeder/Barriball line will continue to be unstoppable. 2. CC - As long as they have Bachman I think they'll be just fine. They've taken a few tough losses but I fully expect them to get it together. 3. DU - Lost their last 3 games but they have some scoring punch. A few bounces go their way and they have a few more victories this year. 4. UND - Same problem as DU, just can't put the puck in the back of the net. Eidsness looks like the real deal and once they get healthy I expect them to do well. 5. Mankato - They seem like a pretty tough team from what I've seen and returned a lot of scoring. 6. SCSU - They have been on a tear as of late but I don't know how permanent that's going to be. In the back of my head is still the slaughtering they took from the Gophers. 7. Wisconsin - Way to inconsistent for me to put them in the top 5 right now, but they definitely have the potential to be a team who has home-ice come playoffs. 8. AA - I don't expect their great start to the season to continue at all, they just aren't very talented. 9. UMD - Bad 10. MTU - Really Bad

Losing in the playoffs is completely different than tying a seemingly meaningless regular season game.

Very true, I can agree with that. I guess I'm more predicting a victory tomorrow based on the way tonight looked and the way we've played thus far this season. At this point, until I'm proven otherwise, I'll keep predicting victories. If we come out flat and thinking a win is easy though, we will get stomped, DU is very talented.

Going into the weekend I would have agreed with that, but we've constantly dominated Saturday nights so I expect nothing less than a win. I think Kangas will give up his usual 2 goals, 1 of them being a little soft, and we'll score 3 or 4. The only thing that syas DU won't get at least a point is the whipping they got tonight. Maybe they aren't as good as everyone thought this year? I just don't know.

UAA is okay at best. DU definitely has the ability to surprise teams. What makes you think they will at least tie tomorrow? I guess maybe its just me but a 3 point loss doesn't speak to me in that way.

We were just god awful last year, regardless of who we have. And I feel like Wheeler was playing out of position and wasn't being used well at all. Schroeder, on the other hand, is being used as a guy who moves the puck around and gets a lot of assists, which is exactly how he should be. It's not hard when you have Stoa and Barriball either :/ About Gregoire...I don't see why not, who else?

For whatever its worth, before the season he was listed as the top recruit and is a top 5 prospect for next years draft. And you cant say Gregoire has been any type of disappointment, he's been great it sounds like.

Do you mean he wasn't expected to dominate? I think he was the one that everyone thought should dominate out of any freshman in the nation. I will admit there's lots of good freshmen in the WCHA though, hard to pick a best one. 5-2 Final, finally not a Friday tie.

Laughing at ties is unacceptable apparently. I'll laugh at any tie, I think they are terrible.

Exactly. I didn't get to watch much of the end of the 2nd and all of the 3rd because of our game, but he seemed to keep you guys in the game.

I haven't talked any !@$!. Someone told me to keep them updated. 5-1!!! Wooger just called Stoa "HOBEY". Stoa goal 2 seconds off the faceoff, assist to Schroeder.

Yeah but it's all on the 1st line. Without the Stoa/Schroeder/Barriball line we are screwed. Combined they are like +40 something on the year I think. I know they were +38 going into last Saturday and I think are +3 tonight.
