These games all still matter in the pair wise right?
Yep, yep.
North Dakota is currently at 6th in the Pairwise, but, according to the CHN Probability Matrix, still has a 19% chance of earning one of the NCAA tournament's four #1 regional seeds (11% chance at #3 overall; 8% chance of #4 overall).
It is far more likely that UND will be a #2 regional seed somewhere; here is the rundown...
#5 overall: 17%
#6 overall: 29%
#7 overall: 18%
#8 overall: 12%
That leaves slightly less than a 4% chance that North Dakota is a #3 regional seed (either #9 or #10 overall). The numbers won't add up to 100% due to rounding.
Of course, the higher the PWR ranking on Saturday, March 19th, the better the matchups, and, of course, the top two seeds in each regional get last line change in the regional semifinals, with the highest seed remaining earning last change in the regional final.

If Senden and Jammer both play Friday who does Berry pair on the wing with them. Breaking up Portz, Ness and Albrecht is not really possible as they'e played lights out since being put together. Budy may be an option or Calder maybe.
Sadly, no Senden tonight. Here are the lines:
Costantini - Ford - Gaber
Caulfield - Schmaltz - Calder
Portz - Ness - Albrecht
Kunz - Jamernik - Budy
Montgomery (extra skater)
Kleven - Frisch
Jandric - Johnson
Moore - Bast
Driscoll
Hellsten

Will UND be able to catch Denver and hoist the program's fifth Penrose Cup? Is home ice for the playoffs a more reasonable goal? Is home ice for the playoffs a lock at this point? All of those questions and more answered in my latest article...

A very timely question considering that my latest article just dropped. This covers the most likely winner of the 2022 Penrose Cup as well as a predicted order of finish in the NCHC. Spoiler alert: I would plan a trip to Grand Forks.
