  1. St. Cloud full strength. Huskies draw a penalty. SCSU going on the power play with 11:14 to go.
  2. Clarkson power play coming up. Sounds like a hit from behind. 2:00 penalty.
  3. Goal Clarkson. 2-1.
  4. 15:00 and ticking...
  5. Tied 1-1 after two. SCSU will start the third with 47 seconds of power play time. Edit: Upper Deck is fast.
  6. Huskies on the power play again.
  7. Still St. Cloud 1 - Clarkson 0. 7:50 to play in the second period. Clarkson headed to the power play.
  8. I'll take a shot at this one. Some people disparagingly refer to St. Cloud State as Jan Brady State, due to what they perceive as the Huskies' Jan Brady syndrome towards all things University of Minnesota.
  9. Clarkson going on the power play.
  10. My money's on Bachman. On topic: Still 1-0.
  11. Clarkson leads in shots 13-7 despite killing two SCSU power plays.
  12. Golden Knights full strength.
  13. St. Cloud back on the power play.

  15. NCAA East Region Tournament Preview Just something to read while we wait for the puck to drop. Go Huskies!

  21. Saturday Game React: UND vs. Michigan Tech
  22. I mentioned this in my Friday Game React, but I think this nugget deserves its own thread: Of all the WCHA first-round series, North Dakota was the only host school to register a sell-out (11,572). Colorado College drew 5896 fans (80% of World Arena capacity of 7343) Denver drew 4693 (78% of Magness Arena capacity of 6026), MSU-Mankato drew 4228 (88% of Alltel Center capacity of 4832) St. Cloud drew 4005 (70% of National Hockey Center capacity of 4832). I find this very odd.
  23. WCHA Playoff Series Preview: UND vs. Michigan Tech
  24. Sunday, March 14, 1999. UND, who came into the first-round series with upstart Mankato with a record of 29-3-2 (24-2-2 WCHA), found itself in a Game 3. The Mavericks had taken Friday's opener, 3-2 in overtime. North Dakota nipped the Mavs 3-2 in Game 2. And the Sioux took MSU-M to the woodshed in Sunday's finale. The final score was 10-0, but it wasn't even that close. UND outshot Mankato 66-23, and didn't let off the gas until Wes Dorey scored the tenth Sioux goal 3:38 into the third period. Still one of my favorite home playoff games ever.
