  1. GFPD are amateurs, Plain an simple. I was at a party a few years ago. As I was walking out the back door I heard the cops were at the front door and had arrested a friend of mine. Now my friend was a real dumb @ss, so this was not surprising, but I thought I'd go see what the deal was and see if it would be possible to bail him out that night. So when I got to the front of the house, I saw a GFPD officer. I asked, "Excuse me, did you arrest someone?" He replied "Go home." I said, "Listen I have every right to be here. I'm simply asking if you have arrested anyone and if so, if it was my friend." He said, "If you don't do what I tell you I'm taking you to jail." Now, on a certain level I do regret what I said next, but this is America damn it and I will die for the right of anyone in the country to say it... "F@@k You!" He then said, "that's it, your under arrest." Which I thought was a little out of line as I was expecting at least on warning about my language, so I turned to my friend to look at him as if to say WTF? But before I could, two other GFPD officers joined the one I was talking to and started hitting and pushing me to the ground. At no point was I told to go to the ground, to turn around, put my hands on my head or anything of the sort. As they tackled me to the ground and stood on my head. They all chanted in unison: "Stop resisting! Stop resisting!" etc. I was so bruised that I actually filed a formal complaint and was photographed at the police station. So, to make a long story short, what was I charged with: Disorderly Conduct. Which is another way of saying you did nothing wrong but your going to jail anyway. So lay off Oshie. I am positive he did nothing to be ashamed of. Go Sioux!!!
  2. Yes, the NE game's stream was less than Ideal. Eventually I minimized it and just closed my eyes. I will be signing up for the Mich. Tech stream. Let's hope they have more bandwidth and more server(s) allotted for the games. Go Sioux!
  3. I did mean the road games. Living in G.F. I can either go to the games or watch them on TV. However, when it comes to road games, I'm usually screwed. That is Unless it is on CSTV, FSN or the odd game on channel 23.
  4. So why doesn't UND offer us a chance to purchase webcasts from them??? Let's join the 21st Century. And while were at it, what do we have to do to get WDAZ to superimpose the clock for penalties??? Go Sioux!
  5. You are correct, being a minority does NOT automatically make you wrong. Thinking Ulf Sammuelson was some how not one of the dirtiest players to play in the NHL makes you wrong. Don't just take my opinion for it, take everyone else's opinion.
  6. Ulf was an @ss. He and his brother shel were the dregs of the league. It is because of player's of that kind that the NHL is the also ran of the big 4. I'm glad that you enjoyed Ulf's play and his career. At least someone did. I would've been much happier without him in the league. When he played I was of the opinion that he was a dirty player. I have the same opinion of Claude Lemioux and Marchmont. Ulf wasn't just an agitator, he literally attempted to injure other players on more than one occasion. Mathew Barnaby is an agitator. However, he at least has the decency not to run from a fight.
  7. Since this is my first post, I do NOT wish to step on anyone's toes. So please forgive me if I do. First, I think either a green out or white out would be fabulous. I have been to a white out in Winnipeg. This was back in 1995 during the playoff vs. the red wings. It worked as follows: Everyone got a large white Jets T-shirt that mentioned the white out. Everyone was encouraged to make sure they either wore their White Jets jersey or the white T-shirt. The white out was a way of encouraging the fans to get into the game, even more so than usual, and intimidate the opposition. It worked for 3 games back in 1995. As those of us that live on the upper plains are aware, a white out can be a very scary thing (Think Blizzard and snow). That is why the term
